Emilia’s most famous bubbles are entering into an important collaboration with the most recognized in the world: thus, Medici Ermete, which has been producing, exporting, and promoting Emilian Lambrusco for 135 years, becomes the importer and distributor in Italy of Marguerite Guyot Champagne.
has chosen to enter into a significant partnership with Marguerite Guyot, a winery rooted in Damery, a land of ancient Champagne tradition, and which produces the three most important grape varieties in the Champagne region: Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Meunier.
Founded in 2012, Damery is the fruit of the passion of Florence Guyot. After extensive experience with Champagne’s most renowned houses, she decided to establish her own winery to create original wines from Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Meunier grapes, expressing their character with great elegance and finesse.
“This is a step,” explains Alessandro Medici, Marketing Manager of Medici Ermete, “one we’ve been contemplating for some time, to explore sparkling wines through other stories, other terroirs, and other grape varieties. Starting in September 2025, Medici Ermete will import the splendid offerings of Maison Guyot to the Italian market. This small, highly artisanal winery shares many of our values regarding wine, the environment, and responsibility.”
