A medal haul of 13 gold medals allows Ferrari Trento to win the title of world champion of sparkling wines for the fifth consecutive year, and eighth overall out of 12 editions. The Lunelli Group winery was crowned Sparkling Wine Producer of the Year at The Champagne & Sparkling Wine World Championships.

The Champagne & Sparkling Wine World Championships: Ferrari Trento reigns as world champion of sparkling wines once again
Ferrari Trento continues its march: for the eighth time in 12 editions—and the fifth consecutive—the Trentino winery was crowned Sparkling Wine Producer of the Year at The Champagne & Sparkling Wine World Championships, an award given to the producer with the highest number of gold medals.
The 13 gold medals were awarded to labels that encompass the entire Ferrari universe, from non-vintage wines like the iconic Brut and the Maximum line to the timeless Reserves, now available to enthusiasts and collectors as part of the “Archivio di Famiglia” project. This consistent quality across the entire range confirms Ferrari Trento as a symbol of excellence recognized well beyond Italy’s borders.
Of the more than 1,000 labels from 23 countries, 93 gold medals and 174 silver medals were awarded to Italy, which remains the most awarded nation, ahead of France, Australia, and the United Kingdom. Trentodoc, with 35 gold and 62 silver medals, was the most popular appellation in the world.
The competition was founded by Tom Stevenson, one of the world’s leading sparkling wine experts and author of Christie’s World Encyclopedia of Champagne & Sparkling Wine, who commented:

The official ceremony, where the special awards will be revealed, will be held in London on October 30th.
