Mack & Schühle UK Ltd Is Born: Gianluca Antonini Appointed Head of the British Division

Mack & Schühle UK Ltd has been established as the new division dedicated to the UK market by Mack & Schühle Italia. Leading the new entity in the United Kingdom will be Gianluca Antonini, a seasoned manager with extensive experience in the international wine industry, who joins the Group as General Manager of M&S UK Ltd. This move confirms the expansion strategy of the privately owned company specializing in the production and distribution of Italian wines and sparkling wines across major global markets.

“The goal is to strengthen the distribution of Italian wines in the UK, providing tailored service to local distribution channels and enhancing the quality and diversity of our portfolio,” emphasizes Fedele Angelillo, Sole Director of Mack & Schühle Italia. “This market, one of the top five globally for Italian wine exports, has always been a strategic outlet. Operating directly through our own structure will allow us to be closer to our customers and manage commercial and operational dynamics more effectively. With Gianluca Antonini at the helm, we are confident in building a team capable of interpreting the specificities of a complex yet highly relevant market like the UK.”

A New Division for the UK Market: Mack & Schühle UK Ltd Is Born

Part of the international group founded in 1939 in Germany, Mack & Schühle Italia is a privately owned company specializing in connecting Italian wine production with international retail, creating a model of long-term sustainable economy.

With the launch of Mack & Schühle UK Ltd, a new chapter begins. The structure of the British division is still under development: Gianluca Antonini will leverage his international background to define the organization and strategic growth lines, the company notes, and his deep knowledge of business development and global markets will be a key asset in consolidating the new entity.

“Joining Mack & Schühle is an exciting challenge for me,” explains the new General Manager of Mack & Schühle UK Ltd. “The UK remains a central market for Italian wine, but today it requires a direct and deeply rooted presence, combined with a flexible, customer-oriented approach. We will work to build a solid and sustainable structure, capable of strengthening our market presence, enhancing our brands, and offering local partners a modern, efficient, and high-quality service.”
