Comte de Montaigne, a Prestige Champagne Maison from the Côte des Bar, celebrates its new partnership with The St. Regis Maldives Vommuli Resort by creating, for the occasion, an exclusive limited-edition cuvée available in the Brut Grande Réserve and Blanc de Blancs Grande Réserve versions. The initiative celebrates the harmonious union and shared vision of two worlds defined by uncompromising excellence and a deep passion for authenticity, elegantly combining refined French heritage with the vibrant spirit of the Maldives.
“The philosophy of St. Regis embodies luxury, style, and sophistication—values that our Maison has always embraced,” says Stéphane Revol, owner and CEO of Comte de Montaigne, highlighting the natural affinity between the two entities. Vincent Pauchon, General Manager of The St. Regis Maldives Vommuli Resort, adds that “this partnership marks another step in our relentless pursuit of excellence, to offer a unique experience in the heart of a terrestrial paradise.”

Comte de Montaigne’s tribute to The St. Regis Maldives Vommuli Resort: a design that unites corals and centuries-old roots
The bottle design, conceived by artist and Creative Director Giò Martorana, is a poetic homage to the corals of the Dhaalu Atoll and at the same time a nod to the centuries-old roots of Maison Comte de Montaigne. Brushstrokes of green, red, yellow, and blue chase each other across the glass surface, creating a visual story of the encounter between an extraordinary place and a Maison whose history dates back to the 13th century.
“With this bottle, I wanted to capture the beauty of the Resort and the ancient origins of Maison Comte de Montaigne, celebrating their union,” explains Giò Martorana. “I chose an abstract representation with deep meaning: colorful corals, symbolizing the splendid atoll, yet also readable as roots—the authentic and profound roots of Champagne.”
Perched in the heart of Dhaalu Atoll, The St. Regis Maldives Vommuli Resort stands as the most coveted refuge in the archipelago. Thanks to this exclusive collaboration, guests will be able to indulge in an exceptional sensory experience by tasting the Blanc de Blancs Grande Réserve and the Brut Grande Réserve. The former expresses the quintessence of Chardonnay, with 48 months of ageing that carve its structure and harmonious elegance, while the Brut, the Maison’s signature, is a blend of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay with delicate balance and a fruity profile.
