Top foreign markets:
- United Kingdom: €9.9 million
- Japan: €8.7 million
- Sweden: €7.9 million
On the domestic market, packaged wine reached €88.9 million (+5.8%), with large-scale retail (GDO) accounting for €55.8 million and HoReCa at €16.3 million, showing strong growth compared to the previous year.
New Consumer Trends: Freshness and Lightness Drive Demand
President Franco Donati highlighted how changing consumer habits are reshaping the market:
“Harvests are no longer excessive in quantity, and consumer choices are shifting toward well-being and contemporary conviviality. White wines, rosés, and sparkling wines are gaining ground, while structured reds—often more expensive and with higher alcohol content—are showing signs of decline.”
He added:
“Food trends favor lighter, fresher dishes, paired with white, rosé, and sparkling wines. Reds remain important but are less dominant in everyday consumption.”
On global challenges:
“Geopolitical instability—conflicts in Eastern Europe and the Middle East, and Trump’s tariffs—creates uncertainty. Terre Cevico looks ahead, preparing generational change in governance and making quick decisions on organizational and strategic aspects, especially regarding the role of red wines.”

Cooperation and Sustainability: Strategic Pillars
The assembly also presented the 8th edition of the Sustainability Report, aligned with European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS).
Regional councilor Eleonora Proni emphasized:
“Sixty years of history and nearly a thousand members represent not only an important milestone but also the strength of a robust cooperative system rooted in Romagna, with a vision extending across Italy and internationally. Terre Cevico proves it has the mindset and capability to tackle the uncertainties of a constantly evolving market.”
Closing remarks from Paolo Lucchi, President of Legacoop Romagna:
“Terre Cevico’s 2025 financial results confirm efficiency and transparency during a challenging period for the wine market. The cooperative stands out for its commitment to enhancing native Romagna wines, improving logistics, and innovating products and packaging—perfectly aligned with the demands of Italy’s large-scale retail sector, which accounts for over 70% of Cevico’s market.”
