From the heart of the Dolomites comes Feral N°6 Cook the Mountain, the new creation by Feral and Atelier Moessmer Norbert Niederkofler. A fermented, alcohol‑free botanical beverage that—for the first time—transforms the Cook the Mountain philosophy from plate to glass, turning it into a drinkable experience: complex, fresh, and ethical. The project will be officially presented on Wednesday, 21 January, at Atelier Moessmer, followed by a launch in Switzerland and Austria.
“If we do things the right way, we can live in harmony with Her and with ourselves,” says Norbert Niederkofler, Three‑Michelin‑Star and Green‑Star Chef, currently ranked 20th in the World’s 50 Best Restaurants 2025.
A Collaboration of Excellence and Innovation
The recipe was born from the encounter between Feral, the startup specializing in botanical ferments, and the team at Atelier Moessmer, led by Lukas Gerges (Restaurant Manager & Wine Director) and Mauro Siega (Executive Chef).
The result is an authentic dialogue between nature, territory, and craftsmanship—perfectly aligned with Niederkofler’s ethical and sustainable culinary vision.
“From the very beginning, collaborating with the Atelier Moessmer team felt more like a dream than a concrete possibility. But the moment we tasted the first samples, the spark was immediate: it was all real,” recalls Maddalena Zanoni, CEO & Co‑Founder of Feral.
Founded in 2022, Feral is a creative laboratory exploring the world of fermented beverages with an experimental and sustainable approach.
The name Feral means free, wild, embodying a philosophy of returning to natural essence and stepping away from conventional paths.
