No more Champagne on the red carpet at the Venice International Film Festival. For the 2024 edition, Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco Docg will be the official sparkling wine of the festival to celebrate the emotions of the big screen. In particular, it will be offered as a welcome aperitif and at the opening and closing gala dinners, during which personalized bottles with labels designed for the occasion will be used.
81st Venice International Film Festival: the partnership with Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco Docg
The Consorzio di Tutela del Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco Docg, supporter of the 81st Venice International Film Festival – La Biennale di Venezia, will be the official sparkling wine to celebrate the emotions of cinema. A partnership that will also extend into the future, thanks to the agreement already signed for the next two editions.
Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore Docg will be the official sparkling wine for the various convivial moments that will characterize the course of the entire Exhibition, which sees an agenda full of events for guests and stars in the most iconic places of the Lagoon.

“Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore Docg is an undisputed symbol of Made in Italy”, says Franco Adami, president of the Consorzio di Tutela del Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco Docg. “It has become so because it is the result of the commitment of generations of winemakers who with determination have worked our slopes, even the most impervious, shaping a landscape of exceptional beauty, now a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and have brought the same passion to the cellar, thus creating a unique product.”
“Just like a movie, a glass of Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore Docg is the result of artisanal work, the result of expert workers capable of transmitting extraordinary emotions with their work. The collaboration with La Biennale di Venezia allows us to bring the name and the bubbles of Conegliano Valdobbiadene among the widest and at the same time authoritative audiences in Italy and the world”.
“The presence of our product in cultural contexts of such international importance contributes to consolidating a positioning that our bubbles, produced on impervious and heroic territories such as the Rive del Conegliano Valdobbiadene, deserve.”
A special label for the festival’s official sparkling wine
“Riprese collinari” is the idea from which the 2024 label was born, created by mimicocodesign+DeRiva, which will appear on all the bottles during the exhibition.
Two “humanized” cameras wander among the vineyards and, like silent and attentive observers, capture the magic of the Prosecco Hills of Conegliano and Valdobbiadene, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and spread it throughout the world.
During the days of the Exhibition, the support of the Protection Consortium will be further promoted through the return on air of the advertising campaign starring Giorgio Pasotti and with a digital activity that will see the involvement of the community that animates the Consortium’s social profiles.
