Allegrini: family agreement for new governance

A new governance for a protagonist of Italian wine. The Allegrini family has signed an initial agreement that will ultimately lead to the division of key assets, the first step in a major move to restructure the ownership and management of the company with the aim of continuing to develop its entrepreneurial activities in the wine sector.

Francesco, Giovanni and Matteo, heirs of Franco, will acquire the majority shareholding Allegrini and Corte Giara companies, based in Verona and rooted in Valpolicella. They will manage these companies together with Silvia, heir to Walter. Meanwhile, “Cav. Lav.” Marilisa Allegrini and her daughters Carlotta and Caterina will retain ownership of the Tuscan wineries, Poggio Al Tesoro in Bolgheri and San Polo in Montalcino, as well as Villa Della Torre in Fumane, Valpolicella.
