After an initial rendezvous in the glass at the last Vinitaly, the new faces from Champagne to Gevrey-Chambertin are officially introduced, who will join the Allegrini Wine Distribution team, the branch of the Allegrini Wines company dedicated to distribution. The catalog is expanding, with a consolidated offer to which small gems of French winemaking are added. Starting with David Moret, a brand known for the production of fine white wines in Burgundy, a new brand that will be distributed for the first time in Italy starting from October 15th.
Allegrini Wine Distribution’s portfolio is increasingly rich: here comes David Moret’s Burgundy
The portfolio of Allegrini Wine Distribution, the branch of the new Allegrini Wines created with the aim of expanding the offer of wines already present in the portfolio of the Valpolicella winery, alongside products from other similar companies in terms of philosophy, quality and respect for winemaking tradition, is enriched with some of the most prestigious wines in the world, which bear the names of areas that have become symbols of the excellence of the Burgundy wine region: from Meursault to Puligny-Montrachet cru Les Folatières, from Chassagne-Montrachet to the iconic Corton-Charlemagne.
The commitment of the Allegrini family in the distribution sector began in 2018, but only with the new structure achieved in 2024 was the reality organized and developed thanks also to Matteo Allegrini who, as a student of oenology in France, came into contact with small French vignerons who embrace Allegrini’s values, such as family and attention to new generations, bearers of innovation in companies.
These relationships of esteem and friendship then resulted in commercial relationships that today allow us to have small but interesting brands from the most important wine areas of France in Italy.

New entries in recent months from Champagne to Gevrey-Chambertin
The scouting and growth work of Allegrini Wine Distribution is carried out by the sales team with the aim of creating a portfolio in which the concept of terroir and the search for the maximum expressiveness of that relationship between man, grapes and environment that has always been central to the production of Allegrini wines dominate.
Moret joins other maisons that in recent months have begun to be distributed in Italy.
Jacques Picard is a fourth-generation company in the Montaigne de Reims, in Champagne. Récoltant Manipulant, they vinify all 27 hectares of property, alternating traditional cuvées, such as L’Iconique, with experimental wines, such as the Double Solera Dosage Zero. The cornerstones of Picard’s philosophy are the utmost respect for the environment and the freshness and cleanliness of the sip even in the longest refinements.

Domaine du Couvent is owned by the Cheron family in Gevrey-Chambertin. The 10 hectares managed include the great French “appellations”, among which the “villages” Vougeot, Chambolle-Musigny and Vosne-Romanée stand out. The Pinot Noir of Domaine du Couvent expresses itself in the definition of the fruit and in the breadth, accompanied by an immediate and luminous drink.
With Domaine La Meulière we move to Chablis, where the Laroche family, in the seventh generation, gives a vertical and fresh interpretation of Chardonnay, in which finesse and persistence are the key words. Spontaneous fermentations and aging in steel work to give these wines a distinctive and territorial imprint, which stands out for its coherence.
