Alto Adige and its wines begin 2024 from Paris, to face what promises to be a year full of events in Italy and around the world. Rendez-vous at Wine Paris & Vinexpo Paris 2024, which will be staged from 12 to 14 February at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles in the French capital, with 15 companies that will be present at the fair, for the first time alongside the institutional counter of the Consortium making its debut (Hall 2.2, Stand D156), to intercept the demanding palates of an audience of international operators. But there will also be an appointment on the evening of February 12, when the producers themselves will welcome journalists and the most important Parisian professionals in an exclusive tasting of some of the best labels among the wines of Alto Adige.
“The international event in Paris will significantly enrich our annual calendar of events and I am sure that it will be an excellent opportunity to create exchanges and inspirations as well as commercial relations for producers”, explains Andreas Kofler, president of the Alto Adige Wine Consortium.
“It’s the first time for us, so we are curious and very motivated, we want to make the most of this place which attracts operators from all over the world to whom we will be able to tell all the diversity and quality of our wines that are born in such a small and so extraordinarily privileged and diverse.”
Alto Adige wines debut at Wine Paris & Vinexpo Paris 2024: the companies present at the event
The wines of Alto Adige kick off a year that will be full of national and international events with the aim of increasingly increasing their notoriety and the peculiarities of their wine offering.
The Consortium is therefore preparing for the important debut at Wine Paris & Vinexpo Paris 2024 – now in its fifth edition – recognizing the growing internationality of this place for the wine world, at a strategic moment also with regards to the updating of wine lists .
There will be 15 companies present with their own labels and next to the institutional counter of the Consortium. And if the presence at the fair is aimed at international operators in the sector, with the special evening designed for February 12th the aim is to involve journalists and the entire Horeca and Parisian trade world.
In the heart of the city, in fact, in an exclusive location, some of the most important and renowned local professionals and journalists were invited by the Consortium to let them discover all the diversity of this small territory through a journey, among vines and terroir, guided by Audrey Brugière, semi-finalist of the Best Young Sommelier competition in France.
The event will revolve around the varieties of Burgundy – Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Blanc – and the historic vines of Alto Adige – Gewürztraminer, Lagrein and Schiava -, with a wide choice between the different types and references of all 15 producers present in Paris who, during the evening, will be able to make themselves better known.
