One of the most recognized faces in Italian music joins forces with one of the protagonists of the Italian wine world for the launch of three new wines. The Bocelli family chose the stage of the events of “Andrea Bocelli 30: The Celebration”, held in the heart of Lajatico, and “Notti Toscane”, in Forte dei Marmi, to present to their friends and fans, both national and international, the restyling of the labels of their Bocelli1831 estates but also the important new entries created in collaboration with the Zonin1821 Group: a Prosecco Doc, an Igt Toscana Bianco and an Igt Toscana Rosso.
Andrea Bocelli and the passion for wine for over 190 years: how the family brand was born
During the summer events held between Lajatico and Forte dei Marmi, an audience of national and international guests gathered for four exclusive convivial events characterized by a combination of Made In Italy excellence: music, art, fashion, style, food and all the best that the Bel Paese has to offer.
Numerous international stars arrived to celebrate Andrea Bocelli’s thirtieth anniversary of career: Kim and Khloé Kardashian, Ed Sheeran, Brian May, Will Smith, Jon Batiste, Johnny Depp, Russell Crowe, Elisa, Shania Twain, Laura Pausini, Tiziano Ferro, Zucchero, Giorgia, Sofia Vergara, David Foster, Christian Nodal, Sofia Carson and Eros Ramazzotti, as well as the stars of classical music Plácido Domingo, José Carreras, Lang Lang, Aida Garifullina, Nadine Sierra.
Right here, the Bocellis told a significant piece of their family history and presented one of their great passions: that for wine.

The Bocelli family has, in fact, peasant origins. In the 18th century, the Bocellis were sharecroppers at the Spedaletto farm (between Lajatico and Volterra), owned by the Corsini princes. On March 21, 1831, using up his savings, Gaspero Bocelli freed himself from being a farmer and became a small landowner, acquiring the Podere Poggioncino for the sum of 1000 scudi.
The names of the firstborn of the Bocelli family, for seven generations, begin with “A”. Like Anselmo, son of Gaspare, like his great-great-grandfather Antonio, like his son Anselmo, like his grandfather Alcide, an electromechanical expert, inventor; like Alessandro, who in addition to his eldest son, Andrea (1958), also assigned the first letter of the alphabet to Alberto (1961). And the tradition continues: with Amos, Andrea’s eldest, with Alessio, Alberto’s eldest.
Bocelli1831 wines are an expression of the roots of the Bocelli family and of that vision, which began in 1831 and has been passed down through the generations, when the Bocelli family began producing Italian wines on their estate in Tuscany.
The estate, which has old vines over 70 years old, cultivates classic Tuscan vines such as Sangiovese, Canaiolo, Colorino, Malvasia and Trebbiano. Over the last two decades, through careful analysis by expert winemakers, it has been discovered that this terroir was exceptionally suited to Cabernet Sauvignon and, precisely for this reason, as well as for the desire to always aim for excellence, 10 years ago the first Cabernet vines were planted which now produce, with a distinctive elegance, exceptional fruit.
Particularly appreciated, in fact, are the wines Terre Di Sandro (100% Sangiovese), Alcide (100% Cabernet Sauvignon) and Edi (100% Trebbiano Igt Toscana).
A new chapter for Bocelli1831: the three wines in collaboration with the Zonin1821 Group
Today is a new chapter that opens for the Bocelli1831 brand. The Tuscan family, in fact, decided to enrich its production by looking outside its own cellar, thanks to the collaboration with producers who operate in other geographical areas of winemaking excellence. The Bocellis aim, in the wake of a tradition that is over 190 years long, to continue to be ambassadors of that wonderful uniqueness of Made in Italy that makes the Bel Paese known on an international level.
Precisely to give voice to Italianness, exactly as Andrea Bocelli has done throughout his career, three new wines have been conceived under the Bocelli1831 brand, with the winemaking support of the Zonin family: a complementary proposal, perfect for celebrating, wherever you are and on any occasion, with your friends and loved ones.

The new entries include the unmissable Prosecco Doc, a true emblem of the Dolce Vita and made in Italy, accompanied by a Bianco Igt Toscana (with Viognier and Vermentino grapes) and a Rosso Igt Toscana (with Sangiovese, Merlot, Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes).
It is particularly interesting to note the braille on the label of the three wines which, in addition to the name of the wine, mentions “The iconic tenor’s profile shape under a neam of light” so as to also tell the blind about the visual that characterizes the memorable bottle.
In the agreement between Italian excellences, the Zonin1821 Group, by virtue of its managerial and commercial structure, will represent the reference for the national and international promotion and distribution of Bocelli1831 wines.
