Angelini Wines & Estates: Alberto Lusini new CEO

Change at the top of Angelini Wines & Estates. Starting next May, the board of directors of the winery has appointed Alberto Lusini as the new CEO. The manager arrives from Massimo Zanetti Beverage Group S.p.A, where he held the same role in the American business unit, after having gained important experience in Mezzacorona, Allegrini and Gruppo Lunelli – Ferrari Trento. He takes over from Ettore Nicoletto who, as president and CEO of Angelini Wines & Estates, will leave his position with the approval of the 2023 budget.

New CEO for Angelini Wines & Estates: Alberto Lusini replaces Ettore Nicoletto

The Board of Directors of Angelini Wines & Estates will appoint Alberto Lusini as CEO, starting next May. The winery is made up of six cellars, for a total of 1,700 hectares of land, of which 460 are under vineyards, and a total production of approximately 4 million bottles per year.

Lusini replaces Ettore Nicoletto who over the last four years has contributed to reorganizing and consolidating the management of the business of the wine company part of the Angelini Industries Group. The decision, an official note highlights, was taken on common initiative and in total agreement with the shareholders, considering the first phase of the company’s reorganization to be concluded.

“We thank Ettore for his contribution to the growth of AW&E and wish him every success in his future projects. We welcome Alberto, who will continue the path of positioning and growing our wine brands in an increasingly global market“, commented Sergio Marullo di Condojanni, CEO of Angelini Industries. “We are a multinational group, but at the same time we consider ourselves interpreters and protagonists of Made in Italy, a way of doing business that makes quality its mission and thanks to which we want to reach new market goals”.

Alberto Lusini, after a degree in engineering and an MBA, both obtained at the University of Bologna, has gained twenty years of experience in the consumer packaged foods sector, in particular in the beverage sector with an international vision of the sector. He was CEO of the American business unit, MZB USA, for Massimo Zanetti Beverage Group S.p.A, while in the world of wine he held managerial roles in primary companies such as Mezzacorona, Allegrini and Gruppo Lunelli – Ferrari Trento.

Ettore Nicoletto’s farewell echoes:

Starting next May, the board of directors of Angelini Wines & Estates has appointed Alberto Lusini as the new CEO replacing Ettore Nicoletto.
