Bottega Prosecco Bar “lands” at Nice airport, destination French Riviera

Bottega Prosecco Bar is enriched with a new location in collaboration with Lagardère Travel Retail France at Nice International Airport, the gateway to the French Riviera. The facility opened on March 7, a month before the start of the tourist season, which comes into its own with the Easter holidays, peaks during the summer and continues until late October.

This restaurant and café formula offers visibility to Bottega wines, spirits and liqueurs and, at the same time, promotes the food and wine culture of our country in the name of taste as a sort of ambassador of Made in Italy. In recent years, the Prosecco Bar offer has been progressively expanded to include signature cocktails, created specifically by expert bartenders, premix cocktails, including the lemon Spritz, vegan and organic wines and liqueurs and, more recently, alcohol-free sparkling wines, which are establishing themselves as a new consumer trend.

Bottega Prosecco Bar: the structure of Nice airport

The new structure, located in the departures area of the Aéroport de Nice Côte d’Azur, is the first in France and is an obligatory stopover for quickly reaching exclusive locations such as Monte Carlo, Antibes, Cannes, Saint Tropez.

The Nice airport, in terms of passenger traffic, ranks third in France after Paris Charles De Gaulle and Paris Orly. It should be noted that this airport has a catchment area with high economic potential and higher-than-average quality requirements.

Sandro Bottega, president of the company, said:

“Opening a Prosecco Bar in France has long been a primary goal of mine. Bringing the culture of Prosecco and quality Italian cuisine beyond the Alps is both a mission and a great incentive, as French consumers have a deep knowledge of wine and can fully appreciate its gastronomic pairings. Nice is also synonymous with the French Riviera and a lifestyle based on elegance and refinement rather than the cult of ostentation. I would therefore like to thank Lagardère Travel Retail France, which manages the location, for its constant collaboration and for its commitment, also in other contexts, to the growth and consolidation of the format”.
