Calafuria: the artistic collective Santomanifesto signs the new limited edition Magnum

On May 5, Calafuria unveiled a new Magnum d’Artista. The limited edition, now a traditional event, transforms the bottle of the famous Apulian rosé Tormaresca into a visual and sensorial manifesto. The label, for 2025, is signed by the artistic collective Santomanifesto, active in Rome, which reinterprets the language of the urban manifesto with a contemporary, poetic and pop look.

For this collaboration with the rosé produced by Tormaresca, Santomanifesto has chosen to tell the spirit of Calafuria through signs, words and colors capable of evoking the luminous and light energy of the “Calafuria Rosé”.

The project is based on the concept “Nel bere e nel mare”, a dualism that defines the very identity of the label: on the one hand, drinking as a convivial, social, elegant gesture; on the other, the sea, which recalls the landscape of Puglia, the light, the slow and relaxed rhythm of summer.

Together, these two worlds generate a vivid, sunny and layered imagery, which takes shape through communication and design.

Calafuria becomes an urban manifesto

The visual story of Calafuria’s new Magnum d’Artista develops on two levels: the bottle, conceived as a narrative object that reveals itself progressively, and the manifesto, which anticipates its spirit by evoking it with irony and delicacy.

The bottle itself, through a design conceived to stimulate curiosity, embodies the theme of revelation and reflects the character of rosé: pop, refined, iridescent. The bridge between Calafuria and the cultural context of the city was Siamomine, an independent magazine based in Rome, which took care of coordinating the project.

The official presentation of the bottle was held at Spazio Giallo, a place of artistic research and experimentation in the heart of Rome. In addition to the presentation of the new Magnum d’Artista and the tasting of the Calafuria rosé, the event offered the opportunity to purchase in advance the poster created exclusively for the brand by Santomanifesto.

The evening was enriched by the live performance of Coca Puma, an eclectic Roman artist with a nu-jazz background who moves in a hybrid and atypical horizon, between dream pop, nu-soul, electronic, ambient and post-rock, and a DJ set, offering participants an immersive experience between art, taste and Mediterranean imagery.
