The world of Trentodoc welcomes Casa Pisoni, the new brand marking the beginning of a renewed chapter for the historic winery of Pergolese (Trento). The company, a long‑standing player in both Metodo Classico sparkling wine and distillation, presents at Vinitaly a project that enhances and distinguishes its two production souls, offering a space dedicated exclusively to the Pisoni family’s sparkling wines. A rebranding rooted in history yet oriented toward the future, with the aim of giving Trentodoc a clear, autonomous and recognisable identity.
Pioneers of Metodo Classico Trentodoc: a journey that began in 1973
The decision to create a separate brand stems from the growing importance that sparkling wine production has gained over time. The Pisoni family began producing Trentodoc in 1973, alongside its historic distillery. This innovative vision led the company to become one of the founding members of the Trentodoc Institute and to stand out as one of the most significant private producers within the denomination. With around 200,000 bottles produced, Pisoni is today the second‑largest private Trentodoc winery.
The new brand therefore consolidates a positioning built over more than fifty years, offering consumers a more focused and impactful narrative dedicated to the family’s Trentino sparkling wines.
The meaning of Casa Pisoni: belonging, elegance, territorial identity
“With Casa Pisoni,” explains Elio Pisoni, CEO of the company, “we want to give our Trentodoc its own identity. The word ‘casa’ evokes a sense of belonging, family tradition and a deep connection with the territory. It highlights the artisanal attention and care we devote to these sparkling wines, the highest expression of our winemaking history.”
The name recalls the dimension of French maisons, yet with a strong Trentino soul. The cursive lettering conveys elegance and style, while the gold tones echo the hues found in the glass. The typeface chosen for the Pisoni logo—shared by both the Trentodoc line and the spirits—introduces a direct reference to the futurist imagery and the work of Fortunato Depero, an iconic figure of Trentino design.

The Casa Pisoni Trentodoc spin‑off and a family history spanning three centuries
Casa Pisoni is conceived as a spin‑off, yet it remains deeply connected to the historical solidity of Pisoni 1852, a company rooted in the Valle dei Laghi. Records of the Pisoni family date back to the 16th century, when Carlo Antonio Pisoni supplied wines and spirits to the court of Prince‑Bishop Cristoforo Madruzzo during the Council.
The winemaking and distilling vocation of this territory—between the Dolomites and Lake Garda—has shaped a strong and recognisable identity over the centuries. Today, the agricultural and production reality is also active in international markets, from the United States to Canada, from Asia to Northern Europe, bringing the Pisoni signature to increasingly broad and prestigious contexts.
The creation of Casa Pisoni consolidates a path of specialisation that clearly distinguishes the world of sparkling wines from that of spirits, while maintaining a shared narrative thread. The date 1852 remains in the corporate logo dedicated to spirits, while Casa Pisoni becomes the ambassador of the family’s Trentino sparkling wine tradition.
