Cecchi Atelier is the new project of Famiglia Cecchi: a collection composed of five wines of Tuscan origin, selected among the most representative of the brand. The company introduces a selection concept that looks to restaurants and wine shops as ideal partners to tell the story of Tuscany through wines of great expressiveness. A project that marks a change of pace in the narration of the historic company, addressing a more specialized audience through a range of wines that embody the essence of Tuscany.
A protagonist of Italian viticulture and oenology for over 130 years, Cecchi has been able to combine large-scale distribution with a constant search for excellence. Cecchi Atelier represents an evolution of this path: a collection of wines with an even more marked focus on the territory and the typicality of the denominations, to enhance the work of sommeliers and wine buyers.
“Cecchi Atelier is the natural development of our journey. We want to make available to restaurants and wine shops a selection that best expresses our identity, with wines that tell the story of our family and the evolution of our work over time,” says Andrea Cecchi, CEO and fourth generation of the family.
The selection includes the iconic Coevo, which writes a new chapter with the 2021 vintage, alongside Brunello di Montalcino and Rosso di Montalcino Gli Amici, the two interpretations of the prestigious Montalcino terroir. To complete the range, two new wines with a fresh and floral character: Viognier Caprifoglio, a mineral expression of the Maremma, and Rosato Calipte, a vibrant and contemporary Sangiovese.
A path of evolution for over 130 years
Since 1893, Cecchi has built a solid and recognizable identity in the Italian and international panorama, distinguishing itself for an unmistakable style and a vision oriented towards quality. Among the first to export Chianti, Morellino di Scansano and Chianti Classico, the company has been able to make these wines ambassadors of Tuscany in the world, thanks to a strategy based on qualitative consistency, a clear and recognizable visual identity, a targeted distribution and a pricing policy that guarantees value and accessibility.
Over the last thirty years, growth has been accompanied by important investments in new estates in Tuscany and Umbria, with an ever-increasing focus on the sustainable management of vineyards and the enhancement of individual territorial expressions.

Cecchi Atelier: the collection that tells the story of Tuscany
Cecchi Atelier collects labels that best represent the bond between the Cecchi family and its territories of choice, from Chianti Classico to Maremma, up to the new challenge of Montalcino. A journey that explores the potential of Sangiovese in its most noble declinations and that welcomes new expressions of international vines perfectly integrated into the Tuscan terroir.
The wines of the Cecchi Atelier collection are:
- Toscana Igt “Coevo” 2021 – An icon that is renewed. For the first time, the blend focuses on Sangiovese (Villa Rosa, Chianti Classico) and Merlot (Val delle Rose, Maremma), offering a balance between finesse, structure and expression of the territory. The result is a deep and sophisticated wine, capable of enhancing the distinctive characteristics of both production areas.
- Brunello di Montalcino Docg 2020 and Rosso di Montalcino Doc 2023 “Gli Amici” – The new challenge of the Cecchi family in Montalcino is expressed in a boutique winery that enhances Sangiovese in its most authentic interpretations. “Gli Amici” is a celebration of the territory, with a Brunello of great depth and a vibrant, immediate and refined Rosso.
- Maremma Toscana Doc Viognier “Caprifoglio” 2024 – An elegant white that expresses the freshness and flavor of the southern coast of Tuscany, with floral notes reminiscent of wild honeysuckle. Its enveloping aroma and mineral profile make it a wine of remarkable balance and character.
- Toscana Igt Rosato “Calipte” 2024 – The name derives from the Greek term “calypte” which means hummingbird, symbol of grace, elegance and lightness; the characteristics to describe this Sangiovese rosé. A wine distinguishable by its innovative design printed on glass. Fresh and vibrant, it combines the liveliness of small red fruits with a delicate floral note.
