Collavini and Moschino together for the holidays: Il Grigio sparkling wine protagonist of Christmas toasts in international boutiques

Collavini e Moschino insieme per Natale: il Grigio protagonista dei brindisi nelle boutique internazionali

Also this year Collavini, the historic Friulian winery, renews its collaboration with Moschino, toasting with its famous Il Grigio sparkling wine during the Christmas holidays in the most prestigious fashion capitals. The partnership will see Il Grigio, the first Friulian sparkling wine based on Pinot Grigio and Chardonnay, celebrated in elite boutiques in London, Rome, New York, Milan and Paris, accompanying the presentation of the new collection of the maison. The events will begin on December 5 in Paris and London, continue on December 7 in Rome, on the 13 in New York, and conclude on December 14 in Milan.

“We are thrilled to have been collaborating for years with an iconic brand like Moschino,” says Luigi Collavini, owner of the winery together with his brother Giovanni and father Manlio. “Grigio embodies our history and our territory, and seeing it still appreciated on an international level is a great satisfaction.”

Launched in 1973 at Vinitaly, Il Grigio conquered the jet set of the 70s and 80s, to the point of being chosen for exclusive events such as the trip to Italy of Prince Charles and Princess Diana in 1985, a tribute for which the Collavini family received a letter of thanks from Buckingham Palace. Loved by icons of Italian entertainment such as Renato Pozzetto, Teo Teocoli and Enzo Jannacci, Il Grigio established itself in the most exclusive clubs and bars in Milan and as an ingredient in the famous Bellini at Harry’s Bar in Venice. It was also served as a bon voyage greeting on Alitalia and Air Canada flights.

Fifty years after its creation, Il Grigio continues to represent the excellence of Friulian wine. The label was renewed in 2023, inspired by Art Nouveau and the illustrator Aubrey Beardsley, with Liberty-style details that celebrate refinement and tradition. Grigio stands out for its brilliant straw yellow with greenish reflections, while on the nose it is fragrant and fresh, with hints of golden apple, pear and bread crust. On the palate it is harmonious and persistent, ideal as an aperitif or to accompany vegetarian first courses and baked fish.

With this new collaboration, Collavini once again brings the quality of Italian wine to the fashion capitals, celebrating special moments and the spirit of the Christmas holidays with the unmistakable style of Moschino.
