2026 marks a symbolic anniversary for Italian industry: the Ducati Centenary (1926–2026). A milestone celebrated also in the wine world thanks to the partnership with Contadi Castaldi, Official Wine Partner of Ducati Corse since 2016. A collaboration built on shared values—ambition, innovation, research and passion—that unites two Made in Italy excellences capable of competing at the highest level in their respective fields.
Ducati Brut Race: the signature cuvée by Contadi Castaldi in a centenary label
At the heart of the collaboration is Ducati Brut Race, the Franciacorta created in 2017 as a concrete expression of the encounter between the two brands.
A wine that embodies the same spirit that has guided Ducati through a century of history, shaped by performance, technology and design. To celebrate the Centenary, the cuvée is presented with a special label dedicated to the 100‑year anniversary, reinforcing the symbolic value of a project that continues over time.
The Brut Race thus becomes not only a product, but a narrative element that expresses a shared philosophy based on dynamism and identity.

A century of Ducati between technology, design and passion
The Centenary represents a moment of synthesis for Ducati’s history, a brand globally recognised for its sporting achievements, technological excellence and distinctive motorcycle design.
In this context, the wine world enters as a complementary language, capable of translating into a sensory experience the values of speed, precision and emotion.
As Francesca Moretti, Vice President of Holding Terra Moretti, highlights:
“I wanted a wine that celebrates Ducati, yesterday and today, and that can express its uniqueness, its extraordinary ability to evoke emotion. A Franciacorta with expressive, dynamic, agile aromas, sinuous like a slalom, with a fresh, vertical, energetic and powerful character.”
The chosen language directly recalls the racing world, translating the wine’s characteristics into terms of movement, energy and precision.
Echoing her words is Luigi Dall’Igna, General Manager of Ducati Corse:
“Celebrating after a race with a good wine is certainly enjoyable and something we always hope to do. Doing it with Contadi Castaldi’s Brut Race means associating pleasure with the pride of having a Franciacorta dedicated to Ducati, to our bikes, to our spirit, to our enthusiasm and to the passion that defines us and connects us to this prestigious winery.”
From the paddock to the glass: Contadi Castaldi and wine as an extension of Ducati’s style
Contadi Castaldi bottles accompany Ducati’s most significant moments, from international paddocks to official Centenary events.
The wine thus becomes an integral part of an ecosystem that goes beyond the product, entering the lifestyle dimension of the motorcycle brand and strengthening its global narrative.
Founded in the late 1980s by Vittorio Moretti, Contadi Castaldi was born from the restoration of the historic Biasca furnace, transformed into a contemporary winery.
With over 170 hectares of vineyards, the winery interprets Franciacorta with a style defined as “dynamic and contemporary”, based on enhancing the region’s diverse expressions. The cuvées reflect this philosophy, offering energetic and identity‑driven wines that engage with the present while maintaining a strong connection to their roots.
The collaboration between Contadi Castaldi and Ducati is an emblematic example of how two seemingly distant worlds can communicate.
Wine and motorsport share a culture of precision, performance and research—elements that find a concrete synthesis in Brut Race.
In this sense, Contadi Castaldi’s sparkling wines are not just a celebratory complement, but an integral part of a broader narrative that unites speed and slowness, technique and sensoriality, competition and pleasure.
