Cresasso 20th Anniversary Collection represents Zenato’s homage to the Valpolicella area and Tenuta Costalunga: Corvina Veronese.
The most important grape variety in Valpolicella, the supporting structure of a great wine like Amarone that can express its own character even in purity, with a modern and international stylistic approach, while maintaining a decidedly Veronese soul.
Cresasso also tells the story of the challenge that the company has taken on at Tenuta Costalunga to produce in an “impractic” area; the name itself recalls the stones that the land is rich in.
To celebrate the 20th anniversary of Cresasso, a pure Corvina Veronese, a celebratory collection is born, with the selection of three of the best vintages enclosed in 300 precious numbered oak cases put on sale at the price of 395 euros.
Three very different vintages, the result of the interpretation of the vintage: Vintage 2006, an expression of elegance and refinement; Vintage 2008, a symbol of wealth and opulence; Vintage 2011, a tale of finesse and depth.
Each case contains an original silk scarf by Maison Mantero, a symbol of Italian textile excellence since 1902, in two different versions, depicting the iconic rock that stands in the center of the vineyard.
