Ferrari Trento strengthens its presence in the symbolic landmarks of Italian hospitality by inaugurating a new Ferrari Spazio Bollicine inside Rome Fiumicino’s Leonardo da Vinci Airport. Located in the extra‑Schengen area of Terminal 3, above the luxury boutiques, the new format aims to transform waiting time at the airport into a high‑end gastronomic experience, where Trentodoc bubbles meet signature cuisine and the finest Italian design and hospitality.
“Ferrari Spazio Bollicine at Fiumicino aims to offer new ways to enjoy Ferrari Trentodoc and turn airport waiting time into a gourmet break that celebrates the beauty and excellence of our country,” explains Matteo Lunelli, President and CEO of Ferrari Trento. “Being present in a global hub like this allows us to connect with millions of travelers from all over the world, offering them an experience of our mountain bubbles inspired by the Italian art of living.”

A new destination for taste in Italy’s main airport hub
The choice of Fiumicino is no coincidence. Ferrari Trento identified Italy’s largest airport as the ideal place to reach an international, sophisticated, quality‑driven audience, creating a space capable of representing the identity of the House in its entirety.
Developed in collaboration with Areas MyChef, the new Ferrari Spazio Bollicine is located in the most exclusive area of the Roman airport and introduces an innovative concept of hospitality dedicated to travelers. The interiors feature Ferrari Trento’s distinctive stylistic codes, starting with the iconic black and white, reinterpreted through a contemporary Italian design language and enhanced by Molteni furnishings.

Three leading figures of Italian gastronomy shape the project
One of the defining elements of the new space is the synergy between some of the most authoritative names in Italian dining.
The gastronomic project is the result of the collaboration between Edoardo Fumagalli, Michelin‑starred chef of Locanda Margon of the Lunelli Group, and Michelangelo Citino, Executive Chef of Areas MyChef and winner of the Best Airport Chef award. Completing the offering is the breakfast selection curated by Iginio Massari, an undisputed icon of Italian haute pâtisserie.
The experience is further elevated by table‑only service and a pairing journey designed to highlight the dialogue between cuisine and Ferrari Trentodoc.

Ferrari Spazio Bollicine: Italian tradition meets signature cuisine
The menu is built around the enhancement of Italian ingredients and territories, with particular attention to Roman and Lazio culinary traditions.
Alongside iconic proposals such as salads and supplì, the gastronomic offering includes appetizers, first courses, second courses and desserts, delivering a complete dining experience.
For this opening, Edoardo Fumagalli has also created an exclusive concept: the Tegamini. These focaccias are designed both as a quick dish and as an aperitivo pairing, conceived as a tribute to Italian and Roman gastronomic culture.
Key ingredients include Pecorino Romano PDO, Porchetta di Ariccia PGI and artichokes, symbols of Roman cuisine. The Tegamini are served on a special soapstone and brass support crafted by Navarini 1958, a historic Trentino artisan company specializing in copperwork, designed to keep the baked goods warm.
The format also focuses on the theatricality of the gastronomic experience. A large window overlooking the kitchen allows guests to observe the brigade at work and experience the preparation of dishes up close.
The goal is to transform a simple airport meal into an immersive experience that conveys Italian excellence through every detail—from cuisine to hospitality, from design to service.

The entire Ferrari Trento collection takes center stage by the glass
One of the most distinctive features of the new Ferrari Spazio Bollicine is the opportunity to taste the entire Ferrari collection by the glass, including several prestigious reserves.
This allows international travelers to discover the richness and expressive variety of the House’s Trentodoc wines right before departure.
The beverage offering also includes wines from Tenute Lunelli in Trentino, Tuscany and Umbria, Segnana grappas and Tassoni soft drinks, available in cocktails and non‑alcoholic versions. A rotating selection of other Italian wines completes the list.
A partnership looking to the future
The opening strengthens a long‑standing collaboration between Ferrari Trento and Areas Italia, built on a shared vision of hospitality and the promotion of Italian excellence.
“We are pleased to continue our collaboration with the Lunelli family and Ferrari Trento, a partner with whom we have built a solid relationship over the years, based on shared values, mutual trust and the desire to seize new development opportunities,” comments Sergio Castelli, CEO of Areas Italia. “The opening of this new venue, and the return inside Fiumicino Airport, represents a significant milestone that confirms the quality of the work carried out together and the ability of our partnership to evolve successfully. Being present in one of Europe’s most important airport hubs means strengthening our presence in a premium and international context, offering millions of travelers an experience that meets their expectations. This new project is the result of a shared vision and a collaboration that continues to generate value for both companies. We look to the future with enthusiasm, confident that together with Ferrari Trento we can achieve new and ambitious goals.”
Fiumicino strengthens its premium positioning with the return of a pioneering format
Aeroporti di Roma also highlights the strategic value of the initiative for the evolution of the passenger experience within the airport.
“Ferrari Spazio Bollicine represents a synthesis of Italian excellence: a distinctive format that combines great wines, signature cuisine and high‑level hospitality,” says Marilena Blasi, Chief Commercial Officer of Aeroporti di Roma. “With this opening, we further enrich the premium offering of Leonardo da Vinci Airport, reaffirming our commitment to promoting Made in Italy and offering passengers an increasingly distinctive travel experience.”
Fiumicino is not entirely new to Ferrari Spazio Bollicine. The first airport opening of the format was inaugurated precisely in the Roman hub in 2013, a project that immediately achieved great success and later led to openings at Milan Malpensa and Milan Linate airports.
Today, following the redesign of airport spaces, Ferrari Trento returns to Rome with a larger and even more ambitious venue, located in the heart of Terminal 3’s premium area. A new destination set to become an international showcase of Italian hospitality, where Trentodoc becomes an ambassador of the taste and lifestyle of our country.
