FINE Wine Tourism Marketplace Italy: on 28 and 29 October, in Riva del Garda, the international fair dedicated to wine tourism

Thanks to recent and significant memberships, FINE Wine Tourism Marketplace Italy, the first Fair in Italy dedicated solely to the wine tourism sector, organized by Riva del Garda Fierecongressi and Feria de Valladolid, becomes the Italian and international point of reference for wine tourism. The event, scheduled at the Riva del Garda Congress Center on October 28 and 29, 2025, has recorded important participations from institutional entities and companies from, among others, Veneto, Sicily, Trentino-Alto Adige, Piedmont, Tuscany, Campania and Friuli-Venezia Giulia, all regions with a very high wine-growing vocation. Therefore, the trust that companies and stakeholders in the sector have in the innovative format is broad and transversal, which, to date, makes FINE Italy a privileged observatory of the sector.

The sponsorships are noteworthy, underlining the leading role that the trade fair body has been able to carve out for itself in this sector: ENIT- National Tourism Agency, the Ministry of Tourism and the Ministry of Agriculture, Food Sovereignty and Forests. Added to these are the active collaborations with leading sector associations such as the Movimento Turismo del Vino, Unione Italiana Vini and Great Wine Capitals.

The two-day FINE Wine Tourism Marketplace Italy in October already features a rich calendar of events and initiatives, including round tables, seminars, B2B meetings, where important Italian and international opinion leaders in the sector are also expected to take stock of the situation.

Among the authoritative voices that will enrich the conference program, Roberta Garibaldi, professor of Tourism Management at the University of Bergamo and President of the Italian Food and Wine Tourism Association, stands out. The result of the collaboration with Riva del Garda Fierecongressi, the expert will present an exclusive research, aimed at analyzing in depth a constantly growing phenomenon and a source of interesting developments for wine companies. This investigation, based on a survey conducted directly on the wineries, promises to offer new data and ideas. “I am pleased to contribute to FINE Italy with a research that will provide an in-depth overview of the dynamics and trends of the wine tourism offer, a constantly evolving sector with extraordinary growth potential for our country,” said Roberta Garibaldi, highlighting the importance of specific analysis tools to guide future strategies.

The strategic value of FINE Wine Tourism Marketplace Italy also lies in its international dimension, strengthened by prestigious collaborations. The interest, in fact, extends beyond the Italian borders, demonstrating how this innovative format is able to attract operators from different geographical areas. International buyers are expected from Central and Eastern Europe, Northern Europe, the United States, Central and South America.

The show promises to be a privileged showcase to present the richness and diversity of the territories of Southern Europe and their wine offerings, allowing exhibitors to open up to the international market and explore new commercial partnerships.

“The number of Italian wine companies and various protagonists of the world of wine who have joined FINE Italy – says Alessandra Albarelli, General Manager of Riva del Garda Fierecongressi – is constantly growing and this shows how high the thirst for wine tourism is in our country; a complex world that requires maximum preparation and professionalism. It is our intention to offer those who are showing us their trust an opportunity for concrete growth and development, which is based on direct contact between producers, Italian and international operators in the sector, and wine tourism experts”.

“FINE Italy is an ambitious international project, born from the fruitful collaboration between two large countries, Spain and Italy, thanks to the synergy between two prestigious trade fair organizations,” says Roberto Pellegrini, President of Riva del Garda Fierecongressi. “We are proud that Feria de Valladolid has decided to consolidate its internationalization path in Riva del Garda. A choice that confirms the value of our city and the entire Trentino region as top-level destinations that, thanks to their strategic position, act as true hubs for European markets.”

FINE Wine Tourism Marketplace Italy: the format

The first edition of FINE Wine Tourism Marketplace Italy originates from the proven success experience gained by Feria de Valladolid in Spain. The format stands out for its originality, providing a large area dedicated to B2B meetings, the core of the event, and an exhibition area where wine excellence will be enhanced and supported by local wine tourism promotion entities. This approach aims to promote direct encounters between supply and demand, facilitating the creation of strategic partnerships and the development of new business opportunities.

In addition to the intense business matching activity, the event will offer a high-level program that includes conferences, targeted networking sessions and exclusive fam trips, designed to help participants discover the beauty and peculiarities of the surrounding area. The Show is thus configured as an essential strategic opportunity for all operators in the sector, from entrepreneurs to tour operators, in order to create new synergies, consolidate existing relationships and grasp first-hand the concrete opportunities that the wine tourism flywheel is able to generate.
