Franciacorta Partners with the Emmy Awards for the Sixth Consecutive Year

Franciacorta rinnova la partnership con gli Emmy Awards, accompagnando la Emmy Season 2026 in tutti i suoi eventi.

The collaboration with the Television Academy will extend far beyond the final ceremony of the 78th Emmy Awards. The renowned Italian traditional-method sparkling wine will accompany the entire Emmy Season, which officially began on 8 July with the announcement of the nominations. This season celebrates both established stars such as Steve Carell, Jamie Lee Curtis, Harrison Ford, Lisa Kudrow, Gary Oldman and Michelle Pfeiffer, and a new generation of talents including Taylor Dearden, Chase Infiniti, Sarah Pidgeon and Connor Storrie.

It is precisely this dialogue between icons and emerging voices that makes Emmy Season an ideal stage for Franciacorta, which will have the opportunity to engage with screenwriters, actors, producers, industry professionals and media representatives from around the world.

In the coming weeks, the Consorzio Franciacorta will participate in the season’s principal official events, from the Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony on 13 August at the JW Marriott LA Live, to the Creative Arts Emmy Awards Weekend on 5 and 6 September, followed by the traditional Governors Galas and the awards ceremony on 14 September at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles, concluding with the prestigious reception reserved for winners, nominees and distinguished guests.

A presence that goes beyond celebration: Franciacorta brings to Hollywood a story of territory, culture, conviviality and quality, promoting the excellence of contemporary Italian craftsmanship and the values of Made in Italy on a global stage.

A Season That Brings Together Icons and New Talent

The 78th edition of the Emmy Awards is characterised by a fascinating balance between established names and rising stars.

On one hand are performers who have helped shape the history of television; on the other, emerging talents redefining the language and sensibilities of the small screen.

This combination creates a vibrant environment, perfectly suited to a wine that has always embodied elegance, personality and an ability to evolve.

Franciacorta thus becomes part of an international dialogue celebrating creativity and innovation, joining a global community looking toward the future of entertainment.

A Calendar Filled with Exclusive Events

Franciacorta’s presence will accompany every key moment of Emmy Season.

Following the announcement of the nominations, the programme continues with some of the television industry’s most prestigious events:

  • Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony & Reception – 13 August
  • Creative Arts Emmy Awards Weekend – 5 and 6 September
  • Governors Galas
  • 78th Emmy Awards Ceremony – 14 September

At each of these events, Franciacorta will play a leading role in creating moments of conviviality that bring together distinguished guests, industry professionals and creative talents from around the world.

These occasions represent valuable opportunities to showcase the quality and culture of the Franciacorta territory, bringing a taste of Italy to the heart of Los Angeles.

The Role of the Consorzio Franciacorta: Protection, Quality and Identity

The partnership with the Emmy Awards is also an opportunity to highlight the work of the Consorzio Franciacorta, the organisation responsible for guaranteeing and overseeing the production standards of the first Italian wine produced exclusively through secondary fermentation in the bottle to achieve DOCG status, awarded in 1995.

Founded in 1990 and headquartered in Erbusco, the Consortium is now led by Emanuele Rabotti and represents 120 wineries.

Its mission is to protect the Franciacorta name and territory, promote compliance with the production regulations, inform consumers and enhance Franciacorta as the authentic expression of a method, a wine and a place.

A mission that finds in the Emmy Awards an exceptional international showcase, capable of amplifying the story of contemporary Italian craftsmanship on a worldwide scale.
