Ferrari Trento Presents the 2007 Giulio Ferrari Collezione Vintage: Limited Edition of 3,870 Bottles and 275 Magnums
2007 marks the fifth vintage ever produced of the prestigious Giulio Ferrari Collezione, a Trentodoc that demonstrates how mountain viticulture in Trentino allows Metodo Classico sparkling wines to gain complexity over time without losing freshness and finesse.
From a meteorological standpoint, 2007 stood out from the beginning for its unpredictability: a snowless winter, a dry spring with rainfall concentrated in May, and a summer marked by heat and irregular precipitation. The harvest began unusually early, in the first days of August, but mountain viticulture—the true hallmark of Trentodoc—ensured ideal acidity and freshness, turning an uncertain season into a wine of extraordinary balance.
And balance is precisely the stylistic hallmark of Giulio Collezione 2007: in the glass, it shines with golden reflections, supported by an ultra-fine perlage. On the nose, it captivates with its noble aromatic profile, enriched by the long cellar aging: notes of pecan and macadamia nuts intertwine with toasted hazelnuts, caramel, roasted coffee, and crème brûlée. On the palate, it surprises with citrus freshness before closing on a savory, mineral finish of remarkable persistence, enhanced by delicate iodized nuances.
Giulio Ferrari Collezione 2007 is available in a limited edition of 3,870 bottles and 275 Magnums, all numbered and presented in elegant wooden cases. Dedicated to haute cuisine, it will also be available in select wine shops, on the Lunelli Group’s e-commerce site, and directly at Ferrari’s cellars.

The new vintage was officially presented on October 9, 2025, at Casa Maria Luigia in Modena, with a signature lunch by Massimo Bottura. To accompany the Giulio Ferrari Collezione 2007, the chef created a special version of filet alla Rossini designed to enhance the pairing: “Shared Italian Pursuit of Magnificence: Rossini in sound and taste, Ferrari in bubbles and terroir.”
