Italian Wine Brands (IWB), the first wine group listed on the stock exchange in Italy, was awarded the prestigious title of “Best Producer” at the renowned Berliner Wein Trophy, one of the most respected international wine competitions, known for its rigorous selection and the impartial evaluation of wine excellences from all over the world. This recognition represents a tribute to the constant dedication of Italian Wine Brands to oenological quality and confirms the continuous commitment of the entire group in raising the banner of Italian excellence high and bringing it all over the world, thanks to its presence in over 80 countries with iconic brands.

“It is with great humility and gratitude that we welcome this prestigious award,” declared Alessandro Mutinelli, CEO of Italian Wine Brands. “We are extremely proud of our team, whose constant commitment and dedication to creating excellence have made this extraordinary achievement possible. If we have been successful it is because we have taken on the burden and the risk of innovating. And with innovation we have always worked to achieve excellent results, producing quality wine. Quality is in our DNA, and it is one of our values.”

Italian Wine Brands is the largest private Italian wine group. It produces quality wines from the most renowned wine-growing areas of Italy and distributes them on a global scale across all sales channels. It was founded in 2015, landing directly on the stock exchange on AIM thanks to the consolidation of two important wine companies (Giordano Vini and Provinco) and thus becoming the first company in the world of Italian wine to be listed.

Under the leadership of Alessandro Mutinelli and a team of passionate managers, the group has made further acquisitions over the last four years, becoming a true public company with hundreds of top-level Italian and international institutional investors. IWB has the strength of a large Group that operates all over the world and in all channels (on-trade, off-trade and online) exporting to over 80 countries.
