The Masi Wine Experience is taking off. The Masi Group’s project dedicated to hospitality and wine tourism has become an integral part of the redevelopment and expansion of Verona’s Valerio Catullo Airport, a strategic milestone for the city and for the entire Northeast. The new Masi Wine Bar, inaugurated on 25 February in the presence of local authorities, is located inside the renovated Terminal’s Commercial Gallery, an area that now hosts an expanded selection of food & beverage and retail options, featuring international brands alongside the finest local excellences.
“Being part of this extraordinary transformation of Catullo Airport together with Lagardère Travel Retail Italia is a privilege for us,” says Sandro Boscaini, President of Masi. “With the renewal of the facilities and the increase in passenger traffic, we are excited to offer travellers an experience that combines the pleasure of food and wine with the comfort of travel, turning waiting time into an opportunity for discovery and conviviality, where wine and food culture enrich and elevate those moments of pause.”

A Wine Bar with Masi’s Identity: Amarone and Veneto Excellence for Travelers
Inside the space, quality and tradition shape the entire experience. The Masi Wine Bar offers an exclusive selection of wines from Masi’s estates, including five expressions of Amarone and a curated range of old and rare vintages, designed to give travellers a moment of authentic wine and gastronomic exploration.
The environment is conceived to reinterpret airport time not as mere waiting, but as a new way to encounter the region through its wines. The experience is completed by a food offering that celebrates conviviality, echoing the style and philosophy of the Masi Wine Experience locations already active in Italy and around the world.
A Strategic Milestone in the Growth of Verona’s Catullo Airport
The new Masi Wine Bar is part of the airport’s broader transformation, which—after years of redevelopment—has restored Catullo’s role as a key hub in the international aviation landscape. The restyling, aimed at improving passenger flow, hospitality, and service quality, represents an investment aligned with the growing tourism of Verona and Lake Garda, an area that now exceeds 19 million annual visitors.
Within this context, Masi’s presence helps narrate the region through one of its most iconic expressions: wine as culture, identity, and lifestyle, symbolized by Amarone and the excellence of Veneto winemaking.
