“Ode to the Future”: 100 years of vision and creativity for Pasqua Wines

"Ode al Futuro": 100 anni di visione e creatività per Pasqua Vini

The future is the ideal terrain for Pasqua Wines, a Veronese winery that, for 100 years, has spread creativity and “know-how” around the world through its iconic and award-winning wines. The Centenary celebrations, presented yesterday at the PAC in Milan, a symbolic place of contemporary art, embody a vision projected into the future: investments for growth over the next 100 years and new perspectives on the world of wine.

The success of Pasqua Wines is driven by Icons, iconic wines that are the result of consistent and determined investments, especially in the last decade. This strategy has guaranteed solid performance, despite the challenges of the markets. The winery has reinterpreted a traditional wine region like Verona with courage and innovation, obtaining both economic and critical confirmation.

In 2024, the company recorded robust growth, driven by brilliant performances in the United States. This success goes against the negative data of the sector, exceeding the average growth of Italian wine.

Pasqua Wines and the connection with art

Pasqua Wines also strengthens its connection with contemporary art, which has inspired multiple collaborations with artists and disciplines over the past eight years. This relationship has helped define a distinctive identity and a precise voice for the brand. Art and wine share creativity and follow a similar process: from intuition to research, up to the creation of a work or a new wine.

On the occasion of the Centenary, Pasqua Wines gives life to artistic and editorial collaborations on a global scale. Starting from the United Kingdom, the partnership with Saatchi Gallery is renewed for a dedicated installation. Furthermore, in collaboration with Rizzoli, the book “Ode al futuro” will be published, which collects artistic interpretations of five iconic wines and will be accompanied by an immersive journey at Vinitaly, open free of charge to the public.

Umberto Pasqua and Riccardo Pasqua, respectively President and CEO of Pasqua Wines, declare:

“We feel the responsibility of safeguarding our past and the urgency to enter forcefully and as protagonists into the future, laying today the foundations of the objectives that we intend to achieve in the medium and long term. Our company has always looked beyond conventions, and the celebrations that we have planned for this century of life are proof of this. The ‘Ode to the Future’ project represents an ideal bridge between our yesterday – whose roots are rooted in artisanal knowledge and deep knowledge of the terroir – and our tomorrow, in which we want to continue to be an experimental laboratory where we can imagine and create. It is in our DNA”.

Turnover continued to grow in 2024, starting with the US

Pasqua Vini closed 2024 with a consolidated turnover of 63.5 million euros, up 6% compared to 2023, and increasing its export share, from 87.6% to 90.2% compared to the previous year. Today, the Veronese winery is present in 71 markets around the world, starting with the US, where performances were particularly brilliant, with the United States recording growth of almost 40%, also thanks to new commercial partnerships.

This latter figure is in contrast to the significant decline in consumption of alcoholic beverages overseas (with wine at -7.2% in volume and -6.3% in value), due to a greater orientation towards moderation and growth in the non-alcohol sector.

Considering the results achieved by the Italian wine sector in the American market (+5.4% in value compared to 2023), Pasqua’s robust growth performance in the States is better than the average data for the sector.

“Celebrating our Centenary with the brilliant results of North America makes us particularly proud,” explains Alessandro Pasqua, President of Pasqua Americas. “We are working to build a unique and distinctive positioning in the global wine scene, thanks to the ability not only to propose new visions that are always faithful to our history, but also to intercept changes in consumer trends. Knowing the needs of the market and the desires of consumers, without intermediaries and through our team present on the markets, has rewarded us and is a decisive element of the success of our commercial strategy.”
