Pasqua Wines: the celebrations for 100 years begin at Amarone Opera Prima

100 years old and still going strong. A prestigious milestone that brings with it a 2025 full of celebrations. Pasqua Wines inaugurates its calendar of events for the new year, marked by the celebrations of the first century of history, with participation in Amarone Opera Prima, the event promoted by Consorzio Vini Valpolicella, scheduled in Verona from January 31 to February 2 at Palazzo della Gran Guardia. Over the weekend, at the tasting tables, it will be possible to taste the preview of the 2020 vintage of Amarone della Valpolicella Famiglia Pasqua and the 2016 vintage of Amarone della Valpolicella Mai Dire Mai. For a first toast that anticipates the rich program of events for the celebration of the centenary of the company.

“Our 2025 opens with one of the most important events for Valpolicella and we are happy to share the milestone of the first 100 years together with the Consortium”, underlines Riccardo Pasqua, CEO of Pasqua Wines. “We are honored by the inclusion of Terre di Cariano in the masterclass of the Master of Wine Andrea Lonardi, because it recognizes the depth of the Cecilia Beretta project, which has always worked on enhancing the peculiarities of the territory through its own personal interpretation. And we can’t wait to let people taste the 2020 vintage of Amarone Famiglia Pasqua, our most historic label in the world”.

100 Years of Pasqua Wines: Celebration Kicks Off with Amarone Opera Prima 2025

Not only presentation of the most recent releases for Pasqua Wines at Amarone Opera Prima. The winery, in fact, was selected with the 1985 vintage of Amarone della Valpolicella Terre di Cariano Cecilia Beretta, one of the historic icons of the maison, for the masterclass reserved for the national and international press “The memory of time, a journey through the historic vintages of Amarone” conducted by the Master of Wine Andrea Lonardi, which will be held on Friday 31 January at 3 pm.

Amarone Opera Prima is the event that, both for the Consortium and for Pasqua Wines, in 2025 starts the respective celebrations for reaching the milestone of the first century of history, which the Veronese winery will then experience with a calendar of very special events throughout the year.

Since February, the company has confirmed its presence at the main sector events: Wine Paris (in Paris from 10 to 12 February, at Hall 6 Stand A200), ProWein (in Düsseldorf, from 16 to 18 March, at Hall 16 Stand K69) and of course Vinitaly (from 6 to 9 April, Hall 5 stand E4), to tell the public and operators in the sector about the continuous research and evolution of its winemaking styles, which earned it the title of Innovator of The Year by Wine Enthusiast.

The main icons signed Pasqua Wines and Cecilia Beretta will be available for tasting in the new vintages and in those most awarded by critics: Hey French, 11 Minutes, Mai Dire Mai, Famiglia Pasqua, PassioneSentimento, the best representation of the commitment made by the winery in a century of life to innovate, in a real way, the Italian wine scene.

Vinitaly, as per the consolidated tradition of recent years, will be the main stage of the centenary of Pasqua Wines with exclusive events that, throughout the event, will also involve the city.
