Serena Wines 1881, the historic family company from Conegliano, among the leaders in the production of Prosecco Doc and Docg, will also this year, like the last three, be the Main Title Sponsor of the great international tennis tournaments of Friuli-Venezia Giulia, renewing a partnership that has now lasted 12 years. The event, scheduled from 28 July to 11 August on the red fields of the famous Eurosporting in Cordenons (Pordenone), represents a sporting event of international appeal which for two weeks attracts the attention of enthusiasts and non-enthusiasts both in the regional context and in national level. An unmissable event that will begin with the women’s ITF W75 – which from 28 July to 3 August will see the best athletes in the WTA rankings compete – and then continue from 4 to 11 August with the men’s ATP Challenger 75 which this year celebrates its 21st edition.

Not just great tennis. There are numerous collateral events organized during these two weeks in which Serena Wines 1881 will have the opportunity to make its products known.
On the evenings of Monday 29 July and Monday 5 August, the two opening days of the ITF W75 and ATP Challenger 75 tournaments, it will be possible to take part in a food and wine experience dedicated to excellent local products at 0 km – created in collaboration with Pordenone With Love and in the presence of authorities, sponsors of the event and professionals – which will feature a selection of Serena 1881 brand wines, the line dedicated to choices and independence launched in 2021 on the occasion of the company’s 140th anniversary. In particular, during the aperitif Prosecco Doc Brut and Prosecco Doc Rosé will be served, while at dinner it will be possible to taste Pinot Grigio Doc delle Venezie and Chardonnay.
Thursday 8 August at the Sporting Cafè, the bar inside Eurosporting, will be the turn of “Serena Colors”, the aperitif format dedicated to Serena 1881 during which, for each glass purchased, nice gadgets will be up for grabs .
On Friday 9 August, the Prosecco Doc Brut and the Prosecco Doc Rosé by Serena Wines 1881 will return to the scene during the aperitif tasting based on typical products made in Friuli-Venezia Giulia organized at the opening of the “Le Mie Ruote Sono Gambe” tournament, the appointment with Paralympic sport promoted by Eurosporting Cordenons, Banca 360° Fvg and Studio Covre Brugnera which reaches its fifth edition this year.
And that’s not all: the winners of the tournaments will be honored with an exclusive tasting at the splendid Tenuta Ville d’Arfanta, owned by the Serena family since 1999. An initiative aimed at promoting the hospitality project recently launched by Serena Wines 1881 in Arfanta di Tarzo, on the wonderful Conegliano hills, a UNESCO heritage site, also at this important sporting event.
