Serena Wines 1881 officially kicks off the 2025 trade fair season with participation in two events of primary importance for the wine and beverage sector: Wine Paris (10-12 February, Paris Expo) and Beer & Food Attraction (16-18 February, Fiera di Rimini). The kick off of the year is, therefore, under the Eiffel Tower. France, in fact, today represents a key destination for company exports, establishing itself as the fourth market in terms of turnover with approximately 7 million euros per year and 2.8 million bottles sold in the 0.75 lt format. Prosecco Doc Brut dominates sales with 1.2 million bottles, followed by Prosecco Doc Extra Dry, for almost 1 million bottles, and Prosecco Doc Biologico with 350 thousand units shipped beyond the Alps.
Serena Wines 1881 protagonist at Wine Paris 2025
At Wine Paris 2025, now in its sixth edition and a point of reference for the sector at a global level, Serena Wines 1881 will meet the public of operators, professionals and press at two exhibition spaces, precisely at the stand of the Consorzio Prosecco Doc (Hall 6 – A114, Desk 5) and of the Consorzio di Tutela del Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore Docg (Hall 6 – F056, Desk 24).
The company intends to strengthen its presence in France both in Horeca, the channel of choice for the Serena 1881 brand thanks to the consolidated relationship with a historic French importer, and in God, which instead absorbs a large part of the volumes of Prosecco Doc Extra Dry. Finally, the premium brand Ville d’Arfanta is collecting interesting results online and in a renowned chain of neighborhood wine shops.
“We are very satisfied with the results achieved, but we continue to look forward,” underlines Luca Serena, CEO and fifth generation of the family. “Despite the difficulties of the wine sector, the sparkling wine segment shows signs of resilience and interest from consumers. As a historic and representative company of the Conegliano area, and therefore of Prosecco Doc and Docg at an international level, we will continue to invest in innovation and presence on strategic markets”.
Among the new products presented at the fair, alongside the iconic Serena 1881 and Ville d’Arfanta lines, Medea, the Doc Treviso Extra Dry by Serena Wines 1881, returns to the catalogue, by popular demand from the international Horeca channel. Produced with 85% Glera grapes, completed by Chardonnay, Pinot Bianco and Pinot Grigio, this sparkling wine is characterised by an attractive aesthetic: a bottle entirely wrapped in a circular element to represent the history of the Serena family who since 1881, and for five generations, has passed down its winemaking know-how.

All the previews at Beer & Food Attraction
A week after the Paris event, Serena Wines 1881 will be the protagonist with a completely new stand at Beer & Food Attraction, the reference event in Italy for catering and hospitality, which will be held at Rimini Fiera from 16 to 18 February 2025.
In addition to tasting the new products and sparkling wines of the main lines in the assortment, at the Serena Wines 1881 stand, Hall C3 – 075, the Rimini public will be able to discover in absolute preview the new video contents designed for a more digital and interactive communication: dynamic and impactful “recipe books” that will see the sparkling wines of Serena 1881 protagonists of the most modern mixology, during an aperitif at the end of the first day of the fair, in collaboration with Nudi e Crudi Cocktail Bar of Mestre (Ve).
Every day of the fair, Serena Wines 1881 sparkling wines will be paired with the offer of frozen pizzas Pizzella from the company Rined of Casier (Tv).
After these two important events, the trade fair activities of Serena Wines 1881 will continue in March and April with Prowein and Vinitaly, two key events for international business and the promotion of wine made in Italy.
