Due to its great international appeal and its focus on all world markets, ProWein represents an unmissable and extremely significant appointment for Delle Venezie Doc in terms of communication, promotion and the creation of new networks. The interregional appellation today reveals an almost total export vocation, export which accounts for around 95 per cent of consumption, with Germany being on the podium of the main destination countries, with around 10 per cent of total exports, preceded only by the USA and the UK.

“Delle Venezie Doc today is the most widely exported still white wine in Italy and continues to be appreciated and in demand globally,” comments Stefano Sequino, Director of the Protection Consortium, and continues, “The Consorzio certainly does not lose sight of the most important and strategic visibility opportunities abroad for our Doc. At the same time, we have started a promotional path aimed at engaging the domestic market and enhancing the expressive potential and iconic style of Pinot Grigio Delle Venezie Doc with the objective of replicating the extraordinary success achieved abroad”.

At the Düsseldorf wine show, the Delle Venezie Controlled Designation of Origin will also be the protagonist of a seminar included in the tasting program of ITA Italian Trade Agency, which will be held on Monday 11 March at 4.30 p.m. in Hall 15, Stand F07 by journalist and sommelier Sebastian Bordthäuser.
