The Delle Venezie Doc Protection Consortium new partner of Wine in Moderation

The Delle Venezie Doc Protection Consortium officially announces the partnership with Wine in Moderation (WiM). The largest denomination of origin at national level which brings together the operators of the Pinot Grigio production chain from Friuli-Venezia Giulia, Trentino and Veneto, will from today work with the European program which has been working since 2008 in favor of social responsibility with the aim of promoting the responsible and moderate consumption of wine as well as the values ​​and initiatives that are an integral part of the program itself.

An important step for the Delle Venezie Doc Protection Consortium which therefore confirms its commitment and position with respect to issues related to the health and well-being of consumers.

“We are proud to join the Wine in Moderation team and therefore begin a synergistic path to support social responsibility and a healthy lifestyle,” underlines Albino Armani, president of the Delle Venezie Protection Consortium. “We believe that only through educational and information initiatives and campaigns is it possible to combat abuse and appreciate wine in the context of conviviality and a healthy and balanced diet”.

The Delle Venezie DOC Consortium becomes part of the European Wine in Moderation program

An important new commitment undertaken by the DOC Delle Venezie protection consortium. The Wine in Moderation program, created starting from scientific evidence developed by the Wine Information Council, is based on education and self-regulation and aims to promote a sustainable culture of wine, the ambition of which is to convey respect for wine as a product and as part of a balanced lifestyle.

“The Consortium will be at the forefront to promote initiatives consistent with the European program, aimed at spreading a message of moderation and correct information to consumers”, concludes Stefano Sequino, director of the Consortium. “Our goal is to support and communicate the sustainable culture of wine alongside Wine in Moderation which is an international reference in terms of social responsibility within our sector”.
