For the fifth time, Valdo Spumanti has obtained the prestigious recognition of Best Producer Sparkling Wine Italy at the Berliner Wein Trophy 2025, one of the most coveted awards in the international wine scene, already assigned to Valdo in 2020, 2021, 2023, 2024. A result that fills the Valdobbiadene company, founded in 1926 and led by three generations of the Bolla family, leaders in the Prosecco Superiore DOCG sector, with pride. “This award is the fruit of our passion and entrepreneurial vision, but also of the extraordinary work of our employees as well as the winemakers, winemakers and our distribution network that brings Valdo bubbles all over the world,” said Pierluigi Bolla, president of Valdo Spumanti. “It is an award that we celebrate with our entire team, because human capital is the fundamental value that makes our company grow and strengthens its international image”.
Valdo: The Berliner Wein Trophy Jury Awards
Valdo sparkling wines are the result of a perfect balance between tradition and innovation, elements that have won over the jury of the Berliner Wein Trophy and that have consolidated the company’s reputation around the world for years.
Valdo confirms itself as an excellence of Made in Italy, ambassador of taste and good drinking at an international level. At a time of evolution of commercial policies in foreign markets, Valdo Spumanti strengthens its position thanks also to important recognitions. 50% of production is destined for the Italian market, while the DACH market (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) represents a strategic area of development, consolidated by the presence of the European headquarters in Frankfurt.
The international growth of the company saw, in 2013, the birth of Valdo Europe, followed by Valdo USA, demonstrating an entrepreneurial vision projected beyond national borders. After more than a decade, the winery continues to compete with the largest international companies, bringing Italian Prosecco to the highest levels in the world wine scene.
The Berliner Wein Trophy is one of the reference competitions in the international wine scene and boasts the patronage of the OIV and the UOIE with 14 thousand registrations received every year. Along with the awarding of the title of Best Producer Sparkling Wine Italy 2025, the Valdo medal collection has been enriched with new successes: six gold medals have been awarded to iconic labels such as Marca Oro – the best-selling Prosecco in Italy – but also Viviana Cartizze and Garda Doc Spumante, confirming once again the quality and excellence of the company’s production.
