Vallepicciola, a winery located in the heart of Chianti Classico, looks to export and announces its partnership with Edoardo Freddi International. The latter will act as the winery’s export office. Thanks to this strategic collaboration, the excellent wines will be distributed on selected foreign markets, strengthening the brand’s international presence.
Vallepicciola: the objectives of the partnership with Edoardo Freddi International
The agreement provides for the sale of Vallepicciola wines through the consolidated network of Edoardo Freddi International, with particular attention to key markets such as Europe and Asia.
This partnership was born from the desire to enhance and promote the authenticity and quality of Tuscan wine outside national borders, responding to the growing demand for premium and artisanal products.
“Our mission has always been to bring the quality and passion that characterize our wines to the world,” said Alberto Colombo and Alessandro Cellai of Vallepicciola. “Being able to use Edoardo Freddi International as our export office represents a fundamental step for our growth and allows us to reach new wine enthusiasts in strategic markets.”
With this new synergy, the two companies strengthen their commitment to promoting Made in Italy wine, bringing the excellence of Chianti Classico to new tables around the world. Vallepicciola currently extends over 265 hectares, of which 107 are vineyards. Annual production stands at 500,000 bottles divided into 17 labels between Chianti Classico Docg and Igt Toscana.
Edoardo Freddi International represents the most important Italian wineries (currently 62), acting as a true “ambassador” of the best of the Bel Paese’s wine world. The 2024 managed turnover exceeded 112 million euros (+8.2% compared to 2023), with over 30 million bottles marketed especially in the markets: USA, Germany, Switzerland, Denmark, Singapore, Japan and Vietnam.
