Nearly 250 exhibitors, including wineries and consortia, with a combined turnover of approximately €7.2 billion: these are the numbers for the second edition of Vinitaly.USA, scheduled for October 5 and 6 at Chicago’s Navy Pier. The event, dedicated to promoting Italian wine on the US market, continues at full speed. This event, which features Veronafiere – Vinitaly, ITA – Italian Trade Agency, Fiere Italiane, and the Italian-American Chamber of Commerce of the Midwest – Chicago, is bringing together key players in this delicate phase of the market and the international context. From A for Antinori to Z for Zonin, here are the key players in Italian wine in Chicago.
Which Italian wineries will be present at Vinitaly.USA?
Thanks to the joint efforts of Veronafiere and ITA – Italian Trade Agency, major brands from all over Italy will be present in Chicago, including Antinori, Famiglia Cotarella, Frescobaldi, Ferrari, Zonin, Bellavista, Berlucchi, Planeta, Allegrini, Angelini Wines & Estates, Pasqua, Masciarelli, Feudi di San Gregorio, Varvaglione, San Polo, Tasca d’Almerita, Rocca delle Macìe, and Tommasi. Prosecco producers will be represented, including Mionetto, Villa Sandi, and Valdo Spumanti, as well as large groups and cooperatives: Giv, Nosio (Mezzacorona), and Cantine di Verona.
Among the main consortiums participating to date are the Prosecco DOC, Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco DOCG, Asti DOCG, Valpolicella, and Brunello di Montalcino Consortia. And more: Custoza, Chiaretto and Bardolino, Lugana, Garda, as well as the Umbria Top group and representatives from the Sicilia DOC. Among the regions: Veneto, Sardinia, Friuli, the Emilia-Romagna Regional Wine Shop, and Lazio, but others are in the process of joining.
In Chicago, the spotlight isn’t limited to Italian producers. The registration campaign for American importers and buyers is also underway: among these, Volio Fine Wine Imports, Vias, Terlato Wines, More Than Grapes – wine imports, Winebow fine wines – spirits, and Eagle Eye Wines have already signed up for the second edition of Vinitaly.USA.
“This is still a partial result,” emphasizes Veronafiere Director General Adolfo Rebughini, “but it already demonstrates the American market’s interest in Italian wine. With Vinitaly.USA, we want to offer a stable and strategic platform capable of strengthening the presence of our companies in the United States. By working together with institutions, consortia, and companies, we can transform even the most complex market phases into opportunities for growth and the consolidation of commercial relationships.”

In terms of programming, Vinitaly.USA includes, in addition to a calendar of tastings, supply-demand matching, and market focus, the debut of the wine2wine business forum, with its first edition held abroad.
Twenty sessions are scheduled, including tastings, market analysis, and the announcement, on October 5th in Chicago, of the protagonists of Vinitaly OperaWine 2026, as revealed by Wine Spectator.
There will also be space for wine tourism, with Vinitaly Tourism’s offerings, training by the VIA – Vinitaly International Academy, and extra virgin olive oil tastings offered at the SolExpo Oil Bar.
