Montina Franciacorta: Entrepreneur Raoul Bontempi Joins the Company

A change of pace for Montina Franciacorta, announcing a new structure with the entry into the company of entrepreneur Raoul Bontempi, CEO of Bontempi Vibo S.p.A., a leading Italian fastener manufacturer based in the Brescia area. This inaugurates a new era of local investment, ensuring continuity and strengthening the company’s agricultural identity. The evolution of the corporate structure clearly outlines the company’s long-term vision: a Franciacorta rooted in family tradition, yet determinedly focused on innovation, production autonomy, and resource management.

Montina Franciacorta’s new corporate structure: how the partnership with entrepreneur Raoul Bontempi was born

Montina Franciacorta begins a new chapter in its history with the aim of strengthening its connection with the land, the agricultural supply chain, and sustainability.

In January 2025, the Monticelli Brusati winery changed its name to Azienda Agricola (Agricultural Company), marking a key step toward increasingly direct and transparent management of its vineyards and production processes.

Further strengthening the corporate structure, Raoul Bontempi, CEO of Bontempi Vibo S.p.A., joined the company in March 2025. Through the family holding company Finan Service S.p.A, the entrepreneur has chosen to invest in Montina Franciacorta, a company with strong values, where passion for wine and the land translates into concrete choices.

A partnership that took shape from a personal journey rather than an entrepreneurial one: participation in experiential events at Villa Baiana and direct contact with the Bozza family, particularly meeting Gian Carlo Bozza, instilled in Bontempi the authenticity and passion that animate every bottle.

A great admirer of Chardonnay, especially its Blanc de Blancs versions, Bontempi fully embraces Montina’s vision, confirming its goals of growth, sustainability, and business expansion.

This new direction does not alter the company’s core values: the story remains familiar, with the same values of deep roots, quality, and care, enhanced by new skills and renewed entrepreneurial energy.

Investments for the Future

In line with its new agricultural identity, Montina Franciacorta has planned a significant viticultural and environmental development program. A new 10-hectare vineyard in Gussago took shape in 2025, complemented by the purchase of approximately 3.20 hectares of vineyard in the Franciacorta area and an additional 6 hectares of land earmarked for a new planting in 2026/2027. The goal is to increase production autonomy and consolidate direct control over grape quality, the essential foundation for excellent viticulture.

These initiatives are accompanied by a concrete investment in energy sustainability: by the end of 2025, photovoltaic panels will be installed, capable of covering up to 82% of the company’s energy needs, significantly reducing its environmental impact.

The organizational structure is also growing: between 2024 and 2025, the workforce expanded with the addition of six new positions in administration, reception, and the cellar. Among these, Federica Bozza has taken on an active role in administrative management, while Romana Bozza is responsible for reception, confirming the family’s strong presence in key functions and in the direct narration of the company.
