Pasqua Wines Celebrates Its Centennial in New York with “Ode to the Future”

With an exclusive event at the Rizzoli Bookstore in Manhattan, Pasqua Wines concluded its centennial celebrations by presenting Ode to the Future to the American public—a volume published by Rizzoli that narrates one hundred years of winemaking excellence and creativity.

A Century of Innovation Between Wine and Art

Ode to the Future celebrates 100 years of history of the Verona-based winery and explores the connection between wine and art as universal languages of intuition, expression, and transformation. The New York event marked the final stage of an international strategy aimed at strengthening the brand’s presence in the U.S. market, which has always been one of the most strategic for Pasqua.

To support the project, the winery launched a five-week promotional campaign in New York, which included bus shelter and taxi top advertising, along with an intense multichannel digital effort. The initiative was also made possible thanks to funding from the OCM Wine program, highlighting the strong synergy between public and private sectors in promoting Italian wine worldwide.

At Rizzoli Bookstore, a Meeting of Wine, Culture, and Creativity

The talk at Rizzoli Bookstore featured Riccardo Pasqua, CEO of Pasqua Wines; Alessandro Pasqua, President of Pasqua USA; and Giuseppe Ragazzini, artist and creative director of the project, moderated by journalist Valeria Robecco.

Under Ragazzini’s artistic direction, Ode to the Future narrates the stylistic evolution of the winery through five symbolic labels: Famiglia Pasqua, Mai Dire Mai, 11 Minutes, Hey French, and Terre di Cariano Cecilia Beretta. Each represents a different chapter in the winery’s creative vision, blending tradition, innovation, and aesthetic sensitivity.

The book features internationally renowned artists such as Michael Mapes (USA), Sofia Crespo (Portugal), Gaia Alari (Italy), and Enzo and Giuseppe Ragazzini (Italy). The textual narrative is entrusted to writer and screenwriter Filippo Bologna, who intertwines the stories of the artworks with the history of the Pasqua family and its production evolution.

The Pasqua Wines Experience: From Veneto to New York

During the evening, guests enjoyed a tasting of wines that symbolize Pasqua’s production, including the elegant 11 Minutes Rosé, the fresh and versatile Pinot Grigio Black Label, the rich and structured PassioneSentimento Rosso, the creative Hey French You Could Have Made This But You Didn’t, and the iconic Famiglia Pasqua Amarone della Valpolicella.

Each glass offered a sensory journey through the Veneto region, highlighting the winery’s ability to express identity and quality recognized on an international level.

Reflecting on the importance of the initiative, Alessandro Pasqua stated:

“Presenting this book in New York is particularly meaningful. The United States has always been a key market for our company, where we’ve invested heavily to build strong relationships and share our story. It’s not just another important milestone in our centennial celebrations, but also a way to reaffirm how wine, like art, inspires, unites, and transcends borders.”

Riccardo Pasqua echoed this sentiment, emphasizing:

“Making wine is a wonderful challenge we face every day, since 1925. Capturing the essence of a land or a vineyard and transforming it into a work of art like wine is an incredible opportunity we are privileged to experience. Wine and art share a deep bond, which is why our family has always promoted projects that bring our most iconic wines into dialogue with the work of artists from diverse disciplines. Ode to the Future is a new chapter in this journey”.

Pasqua Wines: Between Heritage and Contemporary Vision

The New York event confirms Pasqua Wines’ commitment to blending tradition and innovation, continuing to tell the story of Italian wine as a cultural expression and a tool for connecting diverse languages. Ode to the Future, which sold out within hours, will soon be available again at the Rizzoli Bookstore in New York and in the online catalog.

Founded in 1925 in Verona, Pasqua Vigneti e Cantine is today one of the most recognized names in the Veneto and international wine scene. The company, owned by the Pasqua family, is led by President Umberto Pasqua together with his sons Riccardo (CEO), Alessandro (President of Pasqua USA), and Andrea (Head of Business Development).

Through the manifesto Pasqua House of the Unconventional, the winery promotes an experimental and creative approach to winemaking, establishing itself as a laboratory of innovation that enhances a century of experience with a forward-looking vision.
