Asti Docg Toasts Jannik Sinner’s Triumph at the Nitto ATP Finals 2025 with a 3-Liter Bottle

Jannik Sinner confirms himself, for the second consecutive year, as the master of masters in world tennis, winning the Nitto ATP Finals and celebrating his victory with a 3-liter bottle of Asti Spumante Docg. Once again, at this edition of the most prestigious indoor tournament of the year, which concluded yesterday in Turin, the Asti Docg Consortium served as silver partner and Official Sparkling Wine, toasting the success of the South Tyrolean champion.

A Winning Partnership Between Asti Docg and World Tennis

“It’s been five years since we decided to link our territory to the elite of world tennis,” commented Stefano Ricagno, president of the Piedmontese consortium, “and the results confirm the validity of that choice. The tournament numbers are concrete proof: this was the most attended Turin edition ever, with nearly 230,000 spectators, as well as the most-watched final in tennis history on TV. A partnership that has allowed us to reach an increasingly broad audience, made up of enthusiasts and potential new consumers.”

A Success That Unites Tennis and Italian Sparkling Wine: Record Numbers for the 2025 ATP Finals

According to ATP, the 2025 Finals recorded 229,879 tickets sold, up nearly 8% from 2024 and almost double compared to the first Turin edition in 2021. The share of Italian spectators rose to 82%, driven by “Sinnermania,” which accompanied the Italian champion in front of his home crowd.

The tournament’s economic impact was nearly €600 million, with over 4,000 jobs created or secured and tax revenues close to €100 million.

Success was also confirmed by Auditel data: with 6.8 million viewers and a 35.7% share, the Sinner-Alcaraz match became the most-watched encounter in history, surpassing the record set by the Sinner-Djokovic final in 2023.

For the Asti Docg Consortium, the triumph translated into a sales boom: 7,000 orange glasses produced in honor of the Italian phenomenon were sold in just one week.
