2026 marks the Year of the Horse according to the Chinese lunar calendar—a symbol of energy, independence, and vitality. To honor this occasion, Masi unveils a new collectible edition of its iconic Amarone: Costasera Lunar New Year of the Horse, vintage 2020. This limited edition combines tradition, quality, and symbolism, designed for enthusiasts and collectors seeking a unique bottle to share during special moments.

The horse, the protagonist of this edition, represents courage and dynamism—qualities reflected in the character of Costasera Lunar Amarone: a wine that is vigorous, rich, structured, and elegant.

Exclusive Packaging for the Lunar Collection Masi

The Lunar Horse Edition stands out with its distinctive design: a stylized golden horse, symbolizing strength and prosperity, set against a red background that evokes both the wine’s color and Chinese New Year.

This marks the fourth edition of the Costasera Lunar Collection, following those dedicated to the Dragon, Snake, and Rabbit. Once complete, the collection will feature twelve unique bottles, each inspired by the signs of the Chinese zodiac.

Tasting Notes: Costasera Lunar Amarone 2020 Masi

Crafted from Corvina, Rondinella, and Molinara grapes using the traditional appassimento technique, this Amarone offers:

Color: Deep ruby red. Aromas: Stewed fruit, plum, cherry, and sweet spices.Palate: Structured yet smooth, with soft tannins and a persistent finish. Alcohol: 15%. Serving temperature: 18–20°C. Aging potential: Over 30 years.
