Serena Wines 1881 closes 2025 with growing results and a clear vision for the future: the historic Conegliano-based winery, a benchmark in the Prosecco region, ends the year with a turnover of 114 million euros, up 3% compared to 2024, and total volumes reaching 450,000 hectolitres (+7.6%). 

A positive performance that confirms the solidity of the company’s trajectory and lays the groundwork for a 2026 focused on international expansion, the development of the NoLo segment, and the strengthening of the Serena 1881 project, guided by the “Quality Times” concept.

Growing volumes and strong performance across key formats for Serena Wines 1881

2025 marks a significant increase in volumes, with the 0.75-litre bottle format at the core of production: 31.7 million bottles, up 1.6 million from 2024. Strong results were also recorded for the 0.2-litre format (7 million bottles), the 1-litre format (234,000 bottles), and the 1.5-litre format (275,000 bottles), demonstrating a portfolio capable of meeting diverse consumption needs. 

This trend reflects the strength of the company’s distribution network and market penetration, confirming Serena Wines 1881 as one of the leading players in the Italian wine sector. CEO Luca Serena, representing the fifth generation of the family and supported by his father Giorgio, highlights how this growth stems from the team’s ongoing commitment and a commercial network consolidated over years of collaboration among marketing, agents, and distributors.

International expansion, brand development, and NoLo innovation

On the international front, the company strengthens its long-established markets—Germany, the United Kingdom, and Croatia—while recording growth in Russia and France, alongside Kazakhstan and Turkey. In 2025, Serena Wines 1881 also entered new markets including Thailand, Armenia, Georgia, and South Africa. The keg segment reached 158,505 hectolitres, with 25-litre returnable kegs and 20-litre one-way kegs, both strategic for the HoReCa channel and international markets.

Among the brands, Costaross continues to grow in Russia and France, Serena 1881 adds 200,000 bottles and becomes the key asset for 2026, while Champagne de Vilmont reaches 35,000 bottles. The alcohol-free segment is also expanding: in 2025 the company produced 60,000 bottles of 0.0 grape-based beverage. The 0.0 line will be joined by the first dealcoholized wine, ready for international trade fairs in 2026, with total 0.0 production expected to reach 500,000 bottles.

2026 will also see the launch of Limoncello Spritz in one-way kegs and a further strengthening of the Serena 1881 brand, with the “Quality Times” concept and a new coordinated image. The company will also expand its presence in Africa, Asia—particularly South Korea and Japan—and the Americas, consolidating its position in the United States and developing new opportunities in South America.
