After the success of its first edition, Fine #WineTourism Marketplace Italy returns to Riva del Garda on 27 and 28 October. The Italian B2B event dedicated exclusively to wine tourism was created through the collaboration between Riva del Garda Fierecongressi and Feria de Valladolid. Moreover, the event will take place at the Riva del Garda Exhibition Centre, with Fine Italy 2026 already confirming its role as a key observatory on wine tourism in Italy, thanks to a format built on targeted matchmaking and high‑quality connections between supply and demand.

Wine tourism in Italy and Europe: an international format built on matchmaking

Fine Italy 2026 will welcome wineries, consortia, associations and wine tourism destinations from across Europe. It will strengthen its role as a showcase for territorial richness and diverse wine‑related offerings. Consequently, the event represents a concrete opportunity to access new markets and reinforce the international positioning of Italian and European wine tourism.

The event benefited from the support of the Autonomous Province of Trento, Trentino Marketing and Garda Dolomiti. It also received the patronage of ENIT, the Ministry of Tourism and the Ministry of Agriculture. Additionally, it also counted on the collaboration of Movimento Turismo del Vino, Unione Italiana Vini and Great Wine Capitals.

Fine Italy 2026 as a strategic driver for Trentino and for Italy

“Following the success of the first edition, we continue with enthusiasm in our commitment to placing our territory at the centre of the European wine tourism map,” says Roberto Pellegrini, President of Riva del Garda Fierecongressi. “Fine Italy 2026 confirms itself as a strategic development engine for Trentino and for the entire country: an international‑minded business format capable of further enhancing our destination and generating concrete value for all supply chains involved in the sector.”

A similar view is shared by Alessandra Albarelli, General Manager of Riva del Garda Fierecongressi, who highlights the pragmatic nature of the event: “Fine Italy 2026 was created to meet the needs of wineries and operators seeking a professional, results‑oriented platform. This format facilitates high‑quality commercial matchmaking.  It also creates an ecosystem that generates real value and tangible opportunities for the Italian and European wine tourism sector”.

Key figures from the first edition: 76 exhibitors, 74 buyers and over 1,440 targeted meetings

The success of the format is reflected above all in the results achieved. The first edition featured 76 exhibitors and 74 buyers from 24 countries.  It also included more than 1,440 targeted business meetings. One particularly significant figure stands out: 89% of appointments were the result of a reciprocal preference between supply and demand — a clear indicator of the effectiveness of the matchmaking system and the quality of the selection.

Hospitality – The Hospitality Exhibition and the Wine Tourism Report

Confirming the growing attention toward the sector, 2026 marks the partnership between Fine Italy 2026 and Hospitality – The Hospitality Exhibition, the event dedicated to hotels and restaurants, which will celebrate its 50th edition in Riva del Garda from 2 to 5 February.

Within this context, on Wednesday 4 February from 12:30 to 13:15, the Wine Arena at the Exhibition Centre will host the session “How Wine Tourism Is Evolving in Italy: Models, Investments and Governance.” The occasion will include the presentation of the second part of the Wine Tourism Management Report, curated by Roberta Garibaldi.  She worked on the report together with SRM, the research centre linked to the Intesa Sanpaolo Group. The report is based on a sample of 200 companies.

Fine Italy 2026: professionalization, digital innovation and public‑private governance

The path outlined by Fine Italy 2026 looks to the future of wine tourism with a broad and ambitious vision.  It highlights the need for professional hospitality and strong networks supported by infrastructure, digitalisation and effective governance. Ultimately, these themes shaped the first edition and remain central as the event moves toward 2026, together with the idea of a style of hospitality capable of creating authentic emotional connections.
