Vinitaly 2026 expands its offering: focus on NoLo, Spirits, wine tourism and international B2B matching

Vinitaly 2026 - 12-15 Aprile Verona: new areas NoLo Spirits, international incoming, Vinitaly Tourism, new digital features, events

With the exhibition centre already completely sold out, Vinitaly 2026 is gearing up for its 58th edition. From 12 to 15 April, the international event dedicated entirely to Italian wine will strengthen its offering with new exhibition formats, a highly profiled incoming from over 70 target countries, an even stronger focus on wine tourism, and a technological upgrade designed to facilitate connections between producers, buyers and industry professionals. This evolution confirms Vinitaly’s role as the global platform for Italian wine and a key meeting point for the supply chain, markets and institutions.

Veronafiere president Federico Bricolo highlights the goal of the 2026 edition:

“Vinitaly is not just an international trade fair; it is the global platform for Italian wine, interpreting the sector’s evolution. In today’s complex context, we are working to exceed the more than 18,500 b2b meetings held during the 2025 event and to continuously strengthen our offering, aligning it with companies’ expectations and emerging trends.”

NoLo – Vinitaly Experience areas and a Spirits pavilion debut

One of the main new features is the development of the NoLo – Vinitaly Experience area, dedicated to No-Low Alcohol products. After the 2025 pilot phase, this fast‑growing segment will have its own dedicated space on the second floor of the Palaexpo. The area will bring together companies, producers, technologies and a programme of tastings, masterclasses and market insights, covering the entire chain from production to consumption.

Xcellent Spirits is also evolving, debuting with a full 1,000‑square‑metre pavilion in C area. The new hall, created in collaboration with Gang of Spirits, will serve as a hub for dialogue between the wine and spirits worlds, featuring international sessions designed to broaden skills and perspectives on global markets.

Vinitaly Tourism is structured and strengthens its dialogue with restaurants and local areas

The 2026 edition marks the full development of Vinitaly Tourism, which becomes an integral part of the trade‑fair system with a daily programme of talks, research presentations, case studies and conferences dedicated to wine tourism and its evolution.

Veronafiere has launched a dedicated incoming plan for specialised buyers and tour operators, with activities organised both at the Palaexpo business point and at exhibitors’ stands.

To complete the offer are experience packages aimed at European buyers, which wineries and territories can activate to organise pre and post‑fair activities in collaboration with Veronafiere’s organisational team.

New digital features and an optimized display layout

Vinitaly 2026 is also investing in digital services with new tools integrated into the Vinitaly Plus app, which in 2025 generated 412,000 views and hosted a library of more than 19,000 wines from 4,000 companies. Starting this year, exhibiting wineries will be able to contact qualified buyers directly, setting up their own agenda without waiting for operators to send an invitation.

There are also several updates to the exhibition layout: Umbria will have a new identity space in Pavilion D, while Pavilion 2 will bring together the entire Sicilian offering. Among the most anticipated confirmations are the Raw Wine super‑tasting on 13 April and the thematic areas Vinitaly Bio, Amphora Revolution – in collaboration with Merano WineFestival and The WineHunter, Xcellent Beers, Micro Mega Wines and Enolitech, the hall dedicated to technologies and equipment for wine and beer production.

OperaWine, Design Award and major events for the public

As usual, the opening event will be entrusted to OperaWine on 11 April at the Gallerie Mercatali, featuring 150 wineries selected by Wine Spectator in the new “Legacy Icon”, “Classic” and “New Voices” categories.

The Vinitaly Design Award celebrates its 30th anniversary with selections on 3 and 4 April and the awards ceremony on 11 April at Teatro Ristori.

For wine lovers, Vinitaly and the City returns on 10, 11 and 12 April in the centre of Verona. The new edition, organised with the Strada del Vino Valpolicella, introduces an Experience Token granting access to a visit and tasting at one of the twelve participating wineries between 13 April and 3 May.

There will also be space for Vinitaly & the Night, the evening parties at the Gallerie Mercatali scheduled for 11, 12 and 14 April.
