Poderi Luigi Einaudi expands its collection of great Barolo wines with a new and highly prestigious addition: Barolo Docg Ravera 2022, a Cru from the municipality of Novello, in the heart of the Langhe, made from Nebbiolo grapes grown in a single vineyard at around 400 meters above sea level, facing south and south‑east. Born on the marl‑clay and limestone soils of the renowned Sant’Agata Marls, this wine combines structure, finesse and longevity, confirming the vocation of the Ravera Mga, long considered one of the most authoritative for Barolo of great depth. Produced in extremely limited quantities, Ravera 2022 stands out for elegance, complexity and a rich, vibrant aromatic profile. With this new label, the winery continues its commitment to enhancing the territory, adding a coherent and meaningful chapter to its production story.
A Cru from Novello that expresses structure, finesse and longevity
Barolo Docg Ravera 2022 comes from a vineyard that benefits from an ideal altitude and an exposure that ensures slow, even ripening. The marl‑clay and limestone soils of the Sant’Agata Marls give the wine a unique combination of tension, elegance and depth.
Production is intentionally limited to just a few thousand bottles, an approach that enhances the purity and identity of the Cru. The result is a Barolo with authoritative body, capable of combining power and grace with natural harmony.

The sensory profile: a Barolo of great breadth and precision
In the glass, Ravera 2022 shows a bright garnet red. The bouquet is broad and layered: ripe red fruits, blood orange, mineral notes of chalk, balsamic hints of mint, and delicate touches of dried flowers and spices.
On the palate, the wine reveals an elegant, deep structure. Its vibrant acidity provides lift and long‑term potential, while the fine, noble tannins are perfectly integrated. A balance that promises long ageing and a fascinating evolution.
A new chapter in the history of Poderi Luigi Einaudi
With Barolo Docg Ravera 2022, Poderi Luigi Einaudi enriches its range of Crus and reaffirms a production philosophy centred on showcasing the finest expressions of the territory. This new wine aligns seamlessly with the estate’s other great Barolo labels, strengthening the deep bond between place, grape variety and identity.
A Cru that not only expands the collection, but also conveys with precision and authenticity the vocation of the Langhe and the estate’s ongoing pursuit of excellence.
