Italian Wine Brands awarded “Best Producer Italy” at Mundus Vini and the Berliner Wein Trophy

Italian Wine Brands wins “Best Producer Italy” at Mundus Vini and the Berliner Wein Trophy, confirming its leadership

Italian Wine Brands opens 2026 with a double win that marks a new chapter in its history. The Group, the first Italian wine player listed on the stock exchange, has been awarded the title of “Best Producer Italy” by Mundus Vini on the occasion of the contest’s 25th anniversary, and has also received the recognition of “Best Producer Italy still wine” at the Berliner Wein Trophy, the largest OIV‑accredited wine competition. Two accolades that confirm the strength of the IWB model, built on innovation, consistent quality and a solid international presence through more than 70 brands distributed worldwide.

Double recognition for Italian Wine Brands

Italian Wine Brands has secured two of the most important international awards in the wine world, reaffirming its role as a global ambassador of Italian wine and the solidity of a model driven by strong innovation — a defining element of the Group’s growth under the leadership of Alessandro Mutinelli.

In the year Mundus Vini celebrates its 25th anniversary, the Group has been named “Best Producer Italy,” a prize that certifies the continuity of its achievements and the excellence expressed over the last quarter century. A milestone made even more significant by being awarded during the special edition of the competition held alongside ProWein, in a context that brought together some of the most authoritative players in the global wine industry.

In March, IWB added another trophy to its record with the win as “Best Producer Italy still wine” at the Berliner Wein Trophy. A result that further strengthens the company’s positioning as a qualified interpreter of Italian oenological excellence in international markets, where quality and credibility are increasingly decisive factors.

The recognitions obtained by IWB confirm the competitive value of a vision rooted in the global market while keeping Italian wine culture at its core. The success at the two international competitions highlights how the company has become a benchmark in the sector, thanks to its ability to combine tradition, innovation and a strong presence in international markets.

The Berliner Wein Trophy, in particular, continues to be a privileged observatory of the growing appreciation for Italian wine. The win as best producer of still wines therefore reinforces IWB’s role as an ambassador of a production model centred on quality, stylistic consistency and a modern vision of export.
