The year 2026 opens for Col Vetoraz with a significant new release: the launch of its new Grape Distillate, a reference that enriches and completes the Treviso‑based winery’s range while maintaining a strong focus on quality, finesse and excellence.
The new label marks the natural evolution of the historic single‑varietal Prosecco Grape Grappa, previously part of the production range and now superseded by a distillate that interprets the brand’s identity and philosophy in an even deeper way.
“We chose this direction for a simple yet essential reason: to offer an even more prestigious product, capable of expressing our philosophy and our constant aspiration toward the highest quality at its best. Our hope is that this new distillate will win over the public just as it has won us over,” explain representatives at Col Vetoraz.
Whole Grapes, Joint Fermentation and Copper Still: A Method That Elevates Aromatics and Identity
The main difference compared to traditional grappa lies in the raw material used: the Grape Distillate is produced from the entire fruit, not only from the pomace. The grapes are carefully selected, gently pressed and started on a delicate fermentation process.
At the end of fermentation, juice and skins are distilled together, preserving the integrity of the grape’s aromatic heritage and delivering a richer, more elegant and harmonious profile in the glass.
The entire process is carried out using a bain‑marie copper still, a technical choice that enhances the finest nuances of the distillate and results in a smooth, balanced and refined spirit.
This production is conceived for those seeking a distillate capable of bringing lunches and dinners to a graceful close, combining intensity with pleasure.

The Identity of Col Vetoraz: Tradition, Territory and Absolute Care
Located in the heart of the Valdobbiadene DOCG, Col Vetoraz stands at nearly 400 meters above sea level on the hill of the same name, in the core of the renowned Cartizze hills.
The Miotto family settled on this hill in 1838, while the present‑day winery was founded in 1993 by Francesco Miotto, Paolo De Bortoli and Loris Dall’Acqua.
In just over 25 years, Col Vetoraz has reached the top of Valdobbiadene DOCG production in both quality and quantity, vinifying 2,300,000 kg of grapes per year, from which the selection of 1,250,000 bottles currently produced is obtained. Today, with more than 30 years of activity, the winery continues to combine respect for tradition, deep love for the territory, meticulous vineyard care and a rigorous technical approach in the production of its great cuvées.
A New Premium Reference Expanding Col Vetoraz’s Enological Vision
The new Grape Distillate thus represents the natural extension of the company’s vision: to offer products that speak the language of top‑level quality, authentic territorial expression and sensory elegance.
A distillate born from a modern and refined interpretation of Glera grapes, fitting seamlessly into the path of growth and differentiation that Col Vetoraz has pursued from the very beginning.
