Today, this story enters a new phase, marked by a decision that opens different perspectives while preserving the founding values of the project. Following a mutually agreed legal and commercial settlement, Mario Pojer and Fiorentino Sandri have formalized the separation of their respective shares and activities, bringing to an end a partnership that began in 1975. A decision that closes an entrepreneurial and human journey lasting over half a century, during which the two founders helped define a production model that left a mark not only in Trentino-Alto Adige, but across the Italian wine landscape as a whole.
What Mario Pojer and Fiorentino Sandri will do now
The new corporate structure outlines two distinct paths, both consistent with the original identity. Fiorentino Sandri will continue to lead the historic Pojer e Sandri brand, along with most of the vineyards located between Faedo and Grumes, carrying forward the production philosophy and heritage built over the years.
Meanwhile, Mario Pojer is embarking on a new chapter in the Val di Cembra, where he will continue to develop his own vision of wine, supported by the second generation of his family.
This is a separation that does not break an identity, but rather expresses it through two autonomous visions, both rooted in a long-standing tradition of excellence.
The Pojer e Sandri brand will therefore continue under the leadership of Fiorentino Sandri, supported by a team that blends experience with generational renewal. A growing role is entrusted to his children, Elisa and Federico, respectively involved in commercial activities and the development of international markets, alongside long-standing collaborators such as Michele Sandri, a key figure in the winery.
This combination of continuity and new energy forms the foundation on which the company’s new cycle is being built, keeping its roots strong while opening up to new perspectives.

The year 2025 confirmed the strength of the production project, with over 250,000 bottles distributed annually across major Italian and international markets.
The winery’s production continues to stand out for its strong territorial identity and its ability to span different styles, from mountain wines to sparkling wines and distillates. Some flagship projects—such as Müller Thurgau, Brut Rosé, and Zero Infinito—represent the most recognizable expression of a production philosophy that has always pursued authenticity and experimentation.
In the new structure, the centrality of the territory and community remains essential. The bond with the area of Faedo and San Michele all’Adige continues to serve as an identity reference point, as does the relationship with a team of collaborators who have helped build the winery’s reputation over time.
